I read the back, and it said an INSANE (or some other big I word) amount of characters is going to be in Brawl! im bumpin my 45 roster to 50! or 52! what do u think?

Even if it did say that, since the nintendo site thing said something similar...but with different and better wording...
It never mentioned if they were PLAYABLE characters....
It could simply have been referring to AT's, enemies, Bosses, cameos and Playable characters

Gamestops have lots of fake game covers. Not exactly a reliable resource.

Preview case in Gamestop is reasonable to beleive, b/c I think that many Gamestops have them. But as Psycho pointed out, it never said playable. Therefore, it must refer to ATs and etc. in general rather than just PCs. My estimate remains at 35-40 PCs

I think sakurai will 50 pc in the game, people forget that sakurai is awsome, with an awsome crew, and to make an awsome game you need a bunch of loveble charecters, the more the funner.

What news, all this guy said was that the box said an "insane" amount of characters, even if it were real this isn't news it's just advertising, maybe there idea of insane is 30.news without proof.Pics or it didn't happen

It's not the actual case, just a fake display case. It reads exactly what the Nintendo.com description reads. Yes, it says insane number of characters, but that doesn't give us any idea of how many, though I would assume it's more than 35, because 9 more than Melee is lame, even 64>Melee had more New characters than that.

its not that hard to believe if sakurai is tryin to double the characters in the last game though i doubt it. im thinkin myself somewhere between 35-40 pcs but who knows besides sakurai it could mean 50?

I saw the Gamespot case too. It's completely fake, the back only uses pictures found on the Dojo and they took the description from Nintendo.com. We'll see the official boxart in about a month.

well, i heard somewhere sakurai "said" that the amount of characters was inimaginable... hope so
That has to include the pokeballs and the ATs. You'd think with a large roster we would get a couple more character updates.
