once again off subject, i think mid feburary or end of feburary would be a good time for a new power rankings. That'll allow mid-PR players (scatz, micaelis, rayku, alby etc.) to get chances to play top levels (biglou, kismet2) in tourney and give a better standing on where everyone goes. Anyone agree?

Me being 2-0 with grief and me being 0-3 with you don't really correlate with each other. Don't try to bring that inui logic into dealing with the PR, they're 2 different factors. I don't know your record with artdude, but If i do recall he has beaten you before.

I am not trying to offend you albino and ill money match if you feel offended. I am only adding information to your statement above. I personally think that all the information should be taken into consideration not just half of it.

@Art beating me: he beat me in a $3 money match but i have beaten him in all tourney matches that we played eachother.

This is too true. I guess its all up to the January monthly combo-breaker to see what the PR is gonna look like. I am very interested to see where Turtl and scatz are gonna end up. They are showing mad potential.

It's not inconsistence, but the characters people play. Dyno sure you beat artdude, but you play wario, against dk of all characters. With that chaingrab to 80, and the fact wario can live forever, AND you camp, dude has very little options and it's difficult to win for dk. He's beaten you in a money match, regarrdless that brings it to being 2-1, not 2-0. That money match counts.

I personally see Dude as more consistent than you in this season. You lose to unranks, dude has lost to top 4-5 only, and beats many people in the PR, plus he has more tourney information on him. Then again, you did get third in a tourney he's gotten 5th in. We'll see next tournament. All i can say, is that if you don't play him in tournament, i recommend money matching and securing your spot above him. Grief as well.

Also dyno, isn't wario great against dedede as well (if played right)? Considering wario never touches the ground and in that sense never gets cg'd?

@scatz -if you can come to one more tourney, and money match a **** load of people you haven't played in tourney, you should be straight for PR. I just want to have alot of information so this can be accurate

Dedede vs Wario is stupid. It's a very campy matchup, and If wario gets the percentage lead it becomes hell for dedede, because one of his main flaws as a character is not being able to deal with camping effectively. Most of the dedede/wario community has come tot he conclusion the matchup is 50:50. Very stage dependent.

Well, I'll be there at all the monthlies and more if I can manage. If anyone wants they can MM me if I have the spare change. The PR update isn't until sometime in February (prob after monthly I'd assume) so until then everyone just play their best. It's all you can ask of yourself anyways.

It shouldn't be a three man circle, you should playing more than those three, there's grief, crazy, art, scatz, turtl, albino, you, rayku, and others, there's no way that will be a circle.

I'm not one for arguing much but I disagree with that. You could argue 55-45 (Wario) but I think 60-40 is the best number for it. I don't complain when playing it; it's just Wario has to many grab setups (such as bite at 0% > dash grab > 108%) and in a "flawless" player match, those will happen and that percent will be reached quickly.

DK can out space Wario and even beats him both in the air and the ground imo, but the CG simply kills it. And since the grab release DK has is severely stage dependent for usefulness, it's really good but not QUITE enough to counter the 108% damage.

Plus Wario can kill DK with Uair and Fsmash at around 125% baring really good DI and UpB Braking. In short, Wario is more likely going to get the 108% > kill move on DK than DK has at killing Wario at 85% with a grab release.

Some of the best Warios argue that the match-up is 70-30 but actually 65-35 due to our Grab Release. It's definitely winnable but it's not even. Maybe if DK had a good grab setup... lol.

We should ban the CG Wario has on DK then I'll say 60-40 (DK) lulz. Just playing of course.

So if you knock someone out of a tourny who would otherwise be PR bound, what would we do with their ranking?

We've been doing it like this perfectly fine in the past. Getting "bracket ***** by Rayku" hasn't really affected much.
