@biglou - only reason i'm asking this is because scatz will start to get lower in the pR just because he literally cannot enter tournaments from january onwards until school is out ;/.

I remember him saying this as well, he said that he would use someone dumb like sheik and lose. Then again, Rayku could easily just play a set against Lounis in "friendlies" and out of three matches if lounis won them with snake he "passed the barline"

Lounis did not take the barline to my knowledge. Jason just put him on there (I remember Lounis commenting on that). I don't think it matters anyways. You're all a bunch of mother hens clucking about stuff.

Everyone is so adamant to make sure it's known that they beat me. Okay I suck x_x thanks (lol I know it's because I'm seated semi-high and what not). I mean I beat Scatz once and it's not up there but I don't care.

On that note... I kind of want to be taken off the PR. But I know it would mess up seat placings and stuff so I won't ask for it. But I wish I could be taken off.

When? The only time I remember you beating me was when I was coming straight from work and you 3-0'd me in pools. If that's not it, then I just got a horrible memory. Besides, you and I discussed this before, and I said that you were already good enough to be on the PR.

TL;DR if you don't care about the answer to that question.

Many reasons. One being the post right above me. I no longer care about my standing in relation to other players. I don't care to much for the animosity it brings sometimes either. Don't get me wrong, I'm going to continue demanding friendlies in search of bettering myself as a player but I no longer want to play this game for the competition. Yeah, I still enjoy winning but it's not on the top of my list anymore.

I started competitive smashing awhile ago and really enjoyed it. Recently though I realized that I was way to caught up in placing higher on this list and trying to win money, etc. After a long time of thinking and brooding over things such as secondary and bad match-ups etc... I realized the real reason I even go to tournaments; that reason being that I enjoy playing the game and above all, I enjoy hanging out with the Smash community.

The Community is the reason I kept coming back to tournaments and is the best part of Smashing. I just lost sight of that for awhile and kind of blame it on this PR list. It's dumb, I know but I'm allowed to be dumb... this is America (jk of course). But I'm fine with staying on it, don't worry. And I don't mean to belittle anyone else's views about it.

But from now on I'm going to try focusing on things that matter more to me like friends and school. I don't want Smash to become another stressful/strenuous thing in my life. It should be the complete opposite and I mean to make it so.
