I mused a while ago, wondering why "Memento Mori" remains, in all likelihood, the only literary noir story. After reading a little bit about Jonathon Nolan's life, it's not terribly surprising. Seeing his thought process was fascinating.

I hope he writes a book or another short story soon. His screenplays are great, but he belongs on the printed page.

That's quite an interesting life he has there. Makes you wonder how many other people have such intriguing stories from their life that will never be heard.
