I mused a while ago, wondering why "Memento Mori" remains, in all likelihood, the only literary noir story. After reading a little bit about Jonathon Nolan's life, it's not terribly surprising. Seeing his thought process was fascinating.
I hope he writes a book or another short story soon. His screenplays are great, but he belongs on the printed page.
