Random stage, 1 strike each.
Players are character locked unless the opponent counterpicks a stage.

No timer will be displayed, as the match will continue until one player loses all their stocks.

Wobbling is legal.

Port priority: If an agreement cannot be made as to who gets what port, the players may enact a best of 1 game of Rock Paper Scissors. Winner gets their port selection, loser selects any other port.

Neutral Start: Both player shall assume neutral positions prior to the beginning of the actual gameplay, and proceed to play upon receiving a countdown from the proper tournament official (and the audience).

If this is the trash talk thread then here comes the master of trash talk. You see, at Shadowloo Showdown, I'll cement my title as a Grandmaster of Smash and as a knight of Smash Bros. My legend will be awe inspiring and everyone will witness firsthand what SurPr15e can truly do in Smash by pulling off sick combos and comebacks. If only Grim was here. He would have loved this because he loves trash talk. Shame. That's okay, SurPr15e is here to do what Grim would normally do.

Maybe to even it up but still keep the NZ v Aus thing going, we could have 6 aussies v 4 NZers, and then however many stocks the aussies have left against Armada/Lucky.

It'd be closer than what you're suggesting imo

I like Leeyam's approach to this, although it does stifle options somewhat, knowing that the best players are anchoring.

if we're all assuming aus will beat nz then aus vs the world (inc nz) is an interesting thought, will discuss with other TOs
defs want armada/lucky to be a part of friday night's exhibitions in some way

We gonna keep the numbers even for NZ vs AUS (aka 6v6 or 7v7) then stick in lucky/ar against whatever AUS have left.

Dz and SpeedyJ don't seem half bad and there's reasonable chances that we won't even take a stock off Armada
I was going to make a compilation because I've seen Armada 4stock good players many many times but I couldn't remember names or tournaments + lazy
Either way he's pretTy Go0d
I'm not really against it but I don't think it's possible for us to win, guess most people probably think NZ couldn't have beaten AUS either though.

@ Darkwing SykeDuk Darkwing SykeDuk I guess I'm just less knowledgeable about where Lucky is as a player and I *think* that Armada is more likely to always give his best, so that's why I mention him. Whether you're right or not I can't argue :)
