Fox up-b stall on ledge

Ive been seeing foxes on the ledge instantly start an up-b and then grab the ledge as if stalling. How do you do this?

How I do it (with Fox of course) is I press back while slightly tilted up on the ledge, then quickly slide the stick up more than press B. I can do it a couple of times in a row but then accidentally go back to far or firefox above the ledge.
