fox shining technique

so on some videos I've seen a combo used quite often
its basically a fox starting on one part of the stage, he shines someone on the ground, wavedashes towards where they land, shines again, and repeats this to the end of the stage then follows with an up smash. people like mango and chill indude have done this.

my question is, how do you this at that speed, and what buttons do you set for your controller to do this right? or even how top players set their buttons to do this.

You can't set buttons, there's only the default option.

Practice. It really isn't hard, you just have to practice until you can get it down. Also, the technique you're describing is called waveshining
