The holiday season is fast approaching, and per tradition it's time for SWF's annual Forum Awards. For the many people who have joined since last year's ceremonies, Forum Awards are a chance for us to recognize some of the most notable members around the boards, in all sorts of different categories.
Voting takes place in two parts: a nomination period, where users write in the users they think should be nominated for a certain award, and the final voting period, where the top three votegetters in each category are put up against each other. As per tradition, we'll be having awards for all members, moderators, and even for rooms and categories.
Here's the preliminary (subject to change) timetable for this year's awards. Note that "end" dates specify the last day of voting--the voting booth closes at 11:59 PM EST:
Category Suggestions: now through November 24
Categories Posted: November 25-27ish
Nominee Voting Begins: December 1
Nominee Voting Ends: December 16
Nominees Posted/Campaigning Starts: by December 18
Final Voting Begins: December 22
Final Voting Ends: January 4
Winners Posted: January 5
