Greetings fellow humans, I'm pleased to officially announce the fourth installment of Liberty's somewhat consistent monthly series: Flame Choke 4! This time, however, we will be partnering with a local charity, Freedom 4/24.
Flame Choke 4 AKA Game 4 Their Lives is Freedom 4/24’s inaugural charity gaming tournament designed to raise awareness of the sexual exploitation and human trafficking of women and children around the world and provide financial support to partner organizations dedicated to bringing freedom and doing justice!
Human trafficking is essentially a modern day form of slavery. Through the use of technology and other outlets, human trafficking is a $150 billion industry annually, which makes humans the highest grossing product in the world.
This event will take place on Saturday, May 5th, in Demoss Room 4152 (4th floor of demoss, take the elevators in the front part of the building and turn left, right, 2 lefts and it should be on the right. We'll likely post signs to direct you from the elevators)
All money collected from venue fee, food/drink sales, t-shirt sales, and raffle ticket sales will go towards Freedom 4/24’s cause to put an end to human trafficking!
We are offering an exclusive package* for just $30, which includes:
-venue fee ($5 value)
-free food ($1 each)
-free drinks ($1 each)
-a free Freedom 4/24 t-shirt ($15 value)
-5 raffle tickets that will enter you into a raffle for several prizes ($13 value)
-Overall, $35+ value!
*this is not necessary to enter the tournament, you can just pay venue fee
Outside of the package, pizza/drinks are $1 each, t-shirts are 15 each, and tickets are $3 for 1, $5 for 2
Venue fee: $5 towards F4/24
Entry fee: $5 for Smash 4 Singles, Melee Singles; $2 for Pokken DX Singles, Dragon Ball FighterZ Singles, Rivals of Aether Singles, and Smash 4 Doubles ($4 per team)
Schedule:
Venue will open at 11am
12pm- Smash 4 Doubles
2pm- Melee, Pokken
4pm- Smash 4 Singles
6pm- DBFZ, RoA
venue will close around 9pm
It is important to RSVP “Going” if you plan on coming - for us to have a grasp on how much food/drinks we need to supply!
