That definitely looks like Genny. It just looks way too similar to Genny's damaged artwork. Not only that, but the silhouette also has the strand piece of hair on the top of the head(there's a term for it, but can't remember what it was), which Genny has in her Attack and Damaged artwork.

That said, it doesn't look like a Bride Banner. Unless those are some Bridal-packed Marshmallows.

Yeah, that doesn't look like a Bride banner as visually it seems different and Feh doesn't allude to it in the same way she does the previous Bride banners, instead stating that they're getting ready for the warm weather. So the question right now is whether it's something Golden Week related since that is next week, or it's a unique theme like the Hot Springs banner (of which I agree Camping is a good guess).

Saw an interesting question asked on Reddit that I think I'll ask here.

Are there any characters that you didn't appreciate much before playing FE Heroes, that you have obtained a fondness for since you started playing FE Heroes? (OCs are valid too)

For the OCs, Laegjarn, Alfonse, Helbindi and Veronica are my favourites. Laegjarn is easily one of my Fire Emblem best girls in general, and Alfonse is becoming an honest contender for best lord. Veronica is a precious child that the comics gave me an even bigger appreciation for. Helbindi was just an interesting character that I feel they killed off too soon (though I could also say the same about Laegjarn, though my issue there is more how I feel the manner of her death was beyond contrived).

For legacy characters, I really like Minerva and Titania. Love a good powerful, scarlet haired lady, and their VAs are great. I have also enjoyed Xander's utilisation in the story (it's better than his utilisation in Fates' story), and wish we got stuff like that more often. Azura was also one of my least favourite characters in Fates but even I can admit that stuff like that Adrift paralogue was pretty cool in how they used her there (and as a Flier main, Legendary Azura is amazing). Chrom was also my first +10 5-Star unit besides Clair (who was already a favourite of mine in SoV), so I've gained a bit of an attachment based on that.

That about sums up the main ones I think.

A litttle late on this response on my end, but I now have the time to respond to it:

For the OCs, my favorites are Hrid, Laegjarn, Helbindi, and Veronica.

Hrid is more of a guilty pleasure since I mainly like his design and voice, but his development wasn't much compared to a few other OCs. However, I've been liking him as a character too. I was expecting him to be Ephraim 2.0 personality-wise when they first revealed he tried to assassinate Surtr on his own, but he turned out to have a rather nice and chill (pun intended) personality that you wouldn't expect from someone who pulled an Ephraim. He is also quite rational with the suspicions he brings out regarding who the traitor in Book II was. In his dialogue when he joins your party, he does show a lot of regret that trying to assassinate on his own may have not been the wisest choice, especially when his sister Gunthra was killed while he was absent. Even his chemistry with Fjorm is somewhat interesting, at least when learning how him and Fjorm trained together growing up. I'll admit he could've done a lot more in Book II, but I have hopes we'll see him again in the story sometime in the future. I'd love to see him taking initiative as the new king of Nifl!

Laegjarn and Helbindi I like for similar reasons you mentioned. Laegjarn is my favorite Camus in the series because compared to most other Camus's, she has good reasons for doing what she did, and she has a reasonable amount of respect in the way she treats our heroes. As for Helbindi, his chemistry with Ylgr is cute, and his motivation as a character was also quite interesting as someone who acts rough, tough, and climbs the ranks in the Musspel army but also does so for the sakeof his family.

I've been warming up to Veronica with each appearance she makes, and I liked her development in Book II when she applied the lesson she learned from Seth in one of the paralogues to question Surtr's actions. I'm hoping we'll see her again before Book III ends, especially when the trailer and her scene with Loki seemed to point to something they'll do there.

I've also been warming up to Alfonse and Eir in Book III lately to the point they are also on their way of becoming additional favorites, but I'll wait until Book III ends to give my true judgment on them.

Now for the other FE characters that appeared in other games:

As someone that is yet to play the Tellius games, many of the Laguz have quite my interest. Special shoutouts to Tibarn for having a great design and great personality! I really liked his Forging Bonds conversations, which gave me a good grasp at what his character is like.

Julia and Tailtiu also cauht my attention initially for having some nice designs, but after learning more about their characters, I've also gained some appreciation for them in a new light, especially Tailtiu. Her happy and casual personality is a joy to see, but I also can't help but feel sorry for her when learning why she acts like that because of her rather sad past, followed by a very tragic fate for her in Genealogy.

I think Heroes definitely led to me realizing how much I like Eliwood. On launch day, the first unit I ever pulled was a 3* Eliwood and I was just like "Whoa, lit, a main character on my first summon!" So I started maining him, and invested pretty much every resource I had into making him the best unit in my army. Over time, other characters I liked started joining my army. Camus is my absolute favorite FE character, period, so he was an especially strong contender for the position of main, along with Hector, Marth, Lloyd, and others. But for some reason, no matter how many main-worthy units I got, I always ended up coming back to Eliwood. Then I went back and replayed Blazing Blade and remembered how amazing its story was and how much sh*t Eliwood went through in it- and how in spite of everything, he came out the other side still smiling.

Then Legendary Marth showed up wielding the Fire Emblem itself and stole Eliwood's spot as my main. But as soon as I get some merges and DFlowers on him so his statline doesn't rely so much on my Summoner Support, Marth will pass the mantle back to Eliwood.

That said, oh boy. AR stat boost skills. Just wait until the DEF/RES AR boost skill that gives 10 to both DEF and RES...and give it to Idunn, Legendary Tiki, etc and have 6 defensive buildings at the back with them at the front.
Also to mention, isn't the Offense AR skill counter-productive? You have to have the opponents keep their buildings to keep the high stats. Shouldn't you get the higher stats from destroying buildings?

Also, I'm not sure how I should feel for Leo. On the one hand, he finally gets his 3rd Alt to go with all the Hoshido and Nohr siblings and their 3rd Alts(in the case for Ryoma, Xander and Takumi, their 4th Alt and in the case of Camilla, her 6th alt). On the other hand, he's free, alongside normal Xander and HS!Camilla. And some free units tend to suffer. With the fact that people already consider normal Leo and Summer Leo suffering.............poor Leo can't catch a break.

Only Flora has the AR Defense skill and it only effects ATK and RES at the moment.

But that said, Flora with her weapon is also a nightmare. I mean, not only does she get +10 RES from combat, but her weapon also decreases an opponent's ATK depending on the difference between her RES and the opponent's RES to a maximum of -8, So basically, a whole bunch of Ward Armors plus her skill makes her in-combat RES so high that opponents will always suffer from -8 ATK, which practically makes her immune to just about all Magic damage.

That said, I would argue that Fortress DEF/RES is the better skill, as it will always give a solid +6 DEF & RES regardless of buildings.

So....
-Stats:

-Ultimately, Leo, despite his very underwhelming-looking stats, is quite min-maxed and can do a good job as a Cavalry Mage Tank(and Gronserpent)/Gronraven user. He has +1 HP/+1 ATK/-4 SPD/+5 DEF/-1 RES stats compared to Cecilia. Not only does he have a good statline for the job, but he actually has a good base kit to go with his stats. Distant Defense 3 at 4-Star and Quick Riposte 3 at 5-Star(release it at 4-star already, you cowards!).
So Leo is very decent, as he has a good statline for a Mage Tank/Gronraven user and he's got a very good base kit to go with it. So if you don't have a dedicated Gronraven/Gronserpent user, Leo can fill in quite nicely.
-Also, Lukas has the highest DEF in the game and he has a DEF Superboon.

Next up: Tempest Trials!

So not only are we getting an Alm, Faye and Kliff TT Banner, but FRICKIN' CHILL ATK IS A SEAL! Alongside Even RES Wave. That's pretty awesome.

 

[False Sense]

Leo's a respectable anti-range tank out of the box thanks to his perfectly tailored kit, so if nothing else he makes for a decent Arena Assault unit. His weapon also is effectively Mirror Stance, which actually gives the 5 Star locked Gronnserpent genuine competition. So I guess green mages that wanted serpent tomes may find what they're looking for here.

As for the seals, another Boost skill is alright filler, and Even Res Wave may have a few applications. It's possible to combo that with Aversa's Odd Res Wave to grant your units a permanent +6 Res buff, if you want. I'm not a huge fan of wave skills as seals, so I'm fairly neutral on this one.

But Chill Atk, though. That's interesting. I've been predicting they'd make Chill's into seals for ages now, and... well, it took forever, but it's finally happening.

The concept of Chill seals alone is super interesting in terms of the types of support/hybrid builds that you can craft with these. Chills are extremely powerful, flexible skills, so being able to slap a permanent debuff on your enemies for a single seal slot is a potentially really good deal, provided you have the free slot to use it with. There's a ton of possibilities there: any unit can now feasibly run Double Chills by combining their A and B slots, while certain units are able to run Triple Chills to almost fully cripple teams (Soren, Klein, Lillina, and NY Laegjarn are the most accessible options). Being able to stack that many debuffs on a single unit can cause massive stat swings in your favor. Alternatively, they can make for great indirect buffs for the unit running it, so you can always slap them on a unit that benefits from the relative stat increase, like putting Chill Def on a Brave weapon user. Or you could put that same seal on a teammate and use that free slot on an Atk boosting seal. Having that as an option lets you mix and match depending on what your team needs.

Chill Atk itself is really strong since it's probably the most universal of the debuffs: almost every unit can appreciate their enemies not being able to kill them, so having Chill Atk on your team makes any team stronger. It's a great disruption tool and can make a lot of annoying content easier by just minimizing key threats, so being able to just throw that onto a team is really cool.

All things considered, this is an exciting addition to the seal pool, and I'm really looking forward to seeing more Chill seals in the future.

There's a ton of possibilities there: any unit can now feasibly run Double Chills by combining their A and B slots, while certain units are able to run Triple Chills to almost fully cripple teams (Soren, Klein, Lillina, and NY Laegjarn are the most accessible options).

A reminder that Soren's weapon has Chill ATK, so he can't quite do Triple Chill at the moment. But it does open up the possibility of him doing Triple Chill in the future if they release another Chill skill as a Seal.

Either way, Triple Chill will not be a pleasant thing to face.

I actually really like this build (I'm working on a +Def Caeda right now. People sleep on her Def stat, a boon gives her 32 base at +10)
Maybe go for Dull Close in the B slot, for extra Surtr-killing?

Personally, I use good old Fury+Desperation combo on my Caeda build and watch her knock things out with Glacies every other attack since I don't have easy access to those big premium skills. Though if you want her to counter Surtr and other heavy green armors I think Axebreaker is good since I believe breaker skills cancel out Wary Fighter if your speed is higher. I have also seen builds with her having Aether and Distant Counter since her res is high enough to tank mages. Ploy skills are also probably good if you are into those.

I really need to get around to merging my own Caeda (currently at +3) since I would like a fully merged sword flier and sadly I will probably never give Palla any merges because I always end up sacrificing her to give Goad Fliers to other units.
