Info for the Project M Tournament Series:

Player Venue fee: $10 per player per Qualifier - Jan 10, 17, 24, 31.
$10 per player for Championship - Saturday, Feb 1.
$10 per "Wildcard" players.
Player Tournament Entry fee: $10 per player for all events
Qualifier Registration/check-in: 5:30 pm. Competition: 6:00 pm approx.
Championship Regist./check: 11:00am. Wildcard matches: 11:30am Competition: 12:00pm
Age requirement: ALL AGES

Game: Project M 3.0
Tournament System: 1v1 Double-Elimination Bracket style or Round-Robin Competition, depending on the number of registered players. There will be 4 qualifiers. Top 8 players from each qualifier automatically advance to Championship, Saturday Feb 1.
>>>IMPORTANT NOTE: Players placing 4-8 and below (non-prize winners) in any qualifier may re-enter and compete in another qualifier to improve their placement and seeding for Championship. Players placing 1-3 (prize winners) will not be allowed to re-enter another qualifier and will advance directly to Championship with "top seeding". Qualifying spots (4-8) relinquished by players who improve there placement, will be filled by the players placing one position lower (Example: the 8th place player would replace the 7th place players spot etc.. )
A special "wildcard" competition which will take place prior to the Championship in order to fill any remaining bracket spots. "Wildcard" matches are available on a "first-come-first-serve" basis (Feb 1 only). Winners of "Wildcard" matches will advance in to the Championship bracket and "wildcard" losers will be eliminated form the bracket.
Game Play: 4 Stock, 8 min. matches. Best of 3 till Semis and 3rd place match. Best of 5 in Final.
Game Rules & Restrictions:
No Gigabowser.
No ledge grab limit.
No chain grabs past 300%.
No Scrooging.
No items.
No glitches that freezes the game.
No pausing.
In the case of a player suicide move, the Initiator of the Automatic Suicide move such as Ganondorf's Flame Choke will win the match if the move ends the match.
Players may be subject to forfeiting of match or ejection from tournament, if above rules are abused.
Prize Amounts: Pay-outs for 1st, 2nd &v 3rd are based on a percentage of the total amount of "entry fees" received by registered players per tournament event.
1st Place - 60%
2nd Place - 30%
3rd Place - 10%
Setup discounts will be given for CRT TVS ONLY. All games and systems are provided. TV space is limited so first come first serve.
Prize amounts are subject to change and will be proportional to amount of paid/registered players. Prizes also may include t-shirts, hats, novelty items etc...
