Favourite music from the series

FE is pretty well known for its music, but what are some of your favourite pieces? I'll start us off with this little selection.

Spoiler: okay, I lied slightly about it being "little", and I still feel like I left stuff out

I'll make an exception to the "no media-only posts" rule for this thread since it's about music, but if you want to talk about why you like a particular track, that's more than welcome too.

I don't think I have a favorite. There's just so many good soundtracks in the series that it's hard for me to pick just one. The battle themes are great, and the map themes are just as good. But for the sake of answering this thread, I'm going to have to go with Young Light, One who Carves a New History, and Endless Battle from FE12. I might be a little biased.

The map themes of FE7 and FE6, like Distant Travels, always put a dumb smile on my face

Technically this isn't actually from the games, but I felt it deserved a mention nonetheless:

It's a 35-minute long fan-made medley of various tracks from FE1-10. The way they combine the dozens of tracks together so seamlessly is pretty impressive. Worth listening to if you have the time.

The theme of the Loptous sect from FE4. Absolutely my favorite villain theme in FE, free.

End of All from Fates. Just such a beautiful song, dang.

Resolve from Fates. I like both versions, but if I had to pick one, the Conquest version of it.

Thorn in You (Roar) from Fates. Too bad it only plays once.

The main theme. This is kind of a cop-out maybe? But this song just means way too much to me to not be here.

As for FE Warriors, it's the only other game I've played. Mostly I really like any of the remixes of the Fates songs and even some from Awakening and Shadow Dragon but I haven't really played those games yet.

The one original track I really like is this one.

Stalwarts Unite/With Us is my favorite recruitment theme in the whole franchise.

So raw, so heroic. If I hadn't played the game I would feel this be more as a victory theme and, in these games, winning a new ally is really just that.
