Favourite English lyrical song in the game?

I just thought this would be a fun topic to make. The game has quite a lot now, many of which were actually returning from Brawl.

Let me know if I missed any

That said, I only included songs with actual singing, hence no Metroid songs.

While we're at it, what other lyrical songs would you like to see.

Also almost half of them are Sonic songs

Ai no Uta and Tane no Uta? the album versions of Bein' Friends, Paradise Line and Pollyanna? if we're to go hyper-pipe dream, why not scour the Nintendo vault for the HD, SFX-less version of this advert jam?

Hmm that's a tough one. I want to say Jump up Superstar, but I prefer this version with the different opening and the additional verse.
Maybe Mike's Theme? Quite like the angle they took for it (it's much better than the Japanese version). Though Wario's music will never be complete without Body Rock or Tomorrow Hill.

If Lost in Thoughts All Alone's English lyrics matched the ****ing cadence better, I'd vote that one. It's a beautiful melody and a top notch voice wasted on poor localization.

I also have a weird admiration for Sonic Heroes, even though its kind of terrible.

I heavily dislike Lifelight. The English vocals don't really fit imo, the lyrics are bad and it feels kind of... "try-hardy" and sappy. But eh.

I don't like English lyrics in music. The lyrics tend to distract me from the actual music, this is mostly because my head can't help translating them and understanding what they say. However, I'm fine with lyrics in other languages, since I don't understand the language, they're more like instruments.

That said, Lifelight is my favorite out of all of these. Still don't like it much, though.

Reach for the Stars. I'm not even a Sonic fan; I just really like listening to that song.

I think Lifelight is fine but not amazing.

Ashley's Song haunts my nightmares because of that spirit battle.

I liked Jump Up, Super Star at first but gradually became sick of it; that song was everywhere back when Odyssey released.

Jump Up, Super Star! is most definitely my favorite. Lost in Thoughts All Alone is another one I like, though I mostly prefer the Japanese version of the song.

Lifelight takes the cake but if I have to choose one without being the main theme of this game then F-Zero took me by surprise. I'm not even an F-Zero fan but I really do enjoy a couple of their tracks and this new one with lyrics is honestly a banger.

The version that's in smash is a mix of both English and Japanese I believe.

It's between Jump up Superstar and gangplank galleon for me.

I'll go with Jump Up Supertsar just because I remember how amazing it was to reach that point in Mario Odyssey.

It's not all Japanese, during the second loop of the song it plays the English version, before ending and starting from the beginning of the Japanese version. Take a listen.

Between Break Free (Lead the Way) and Sonic Boom. Break Free lead the way to victory for me.

If the lyrical version of Pollyanna ever makes it in, that'll always win.
