Fatality points out the difference between good and bad Ikes

Quick draw is definitely one of those wild-card options that help you combat typical anti-Ike gameplay. Aether applies to this as well. When to use these options can be tricky since they have some commitment, but they come with some powerful options - Quick draw can't be reasonably reacted against, and aether has frame 5 super armor and decent horizontal range.

I find it best to aim at the top of the opponent's head if you can, because if they shield, you tend to go over them, unless you predict that they will jump. Quick draw is still decidedly worse offline, though, but it is still a nice tool with even more potential (B-reverse/wavebounce being one of them).

If only counter wasn't nerfed so much, I would say that Ike has a decent set of special attacks.
