Falcon Kick into different landing?

I was watching Pichi vs T, and this happened:

After falcon kicking, falcon did a flip instead of landing on the ground and sliding like he normally does. Any ideas on how this happened?

Yooooooooooo this feels good watching this. This originated from Brawl. So it seems like it had to do with taking shield-stun & being pushed to the very end of the ledge, like how you normally did it in Brawl n what not.

Yes this happens when you get airborne during your Falcon kick. There's 2 ways of doing this :
-the easiest by performing the Falcon Kick from one low platform of battlefield to the other,
-the hardest like it's shown in the clip ie be with your back at the ledge, shield a heavy hit that pushes you back then drop shield and Falcon Kick asap. It's dangerous because if you start the FK too late it will transform into the aerial version and send you to your fastfalling doom.
