Bair maybe better defensively, but for OOS, fair in most situations is the best option. u learn to master fair OOS, and theyll reconsider spamming aerials more often.

I love the fact that you came here, if only for the fact that now i can make fun of your name sounding like a girl without fear of punishment.

You know CiTH, if your up for making a Sonic sig, i'd greatlty appreciate it. My current icon-mabob-er is due to the fact that two ppl utterly phailed at life/my sig already, and gave up.

Well, personally, i like my Bair, but timing grabs OoS locks down and befudles a lot of ppl, i tend to mindgame grab approaches and actually spin/spin cancel approaches. I rarley approach with the Fair, cause when its actually shielded, its a hard punish... yep

Now Dash dance/pivoting to RAR SHFF Lagless sweetspot Bair (Puff's specialty i'd say, lol, im trying SO hard for that, i started playing with tap jump off, but since N64's realese, i've used up... lol so its a rough adjustment) is a pretty safe and good approach (sweetspot gaurentees sheild push/stun, and buffered grab/dash attack/jab are great out of it. Getting predicted? mix up that Dashdaning and pivoting, mindgamey ;)

I think we all have our favorite aerials...but we can surely agree I think Fair is a very quick aerial punisher and is a relatively safe move.

I don't play Sonic-never really tried to. Never posted here. From an outsider's few, Fair is one of Sonic's better moves.

>_>

I heard it clanks with Drill Rush.

That is blasphemy.

Either that, or I didn't know something before that I learned now.

Bair would probably be a better choice though.

I can heartily agree with U/Ftilt and Jab, Chis. SH seems mostly in the same ballpark as Spring as a GTFO move, but can also lead to the epic Footstool -> Dair!

I'm so jaded about Sonic's DSmash; I've been grabbed out of it too many times.
