Full Results for Evo North

I was going to make thread, but this one was already made so..

I was originally going to participate in the tourney, but Evo Registration 4 stocked me, ate my registration, and left me out of the bracket. For that I give myself an "Honorary" 7th place finish (note: I did not actually place 7th, since I was not in the tourney). Vids were recorded, I will be working on them, but they take time. Please be patient, they'll be uploaded onto youtube (www.youtube.com/cappsindigo).

lol I apologize for my shoddy performance :p. I couldn't f-smash TJ for some reason and Eddie picked Marth(wtf?). No johnz though TJ did good as hell, winning some very tough matches against Eddie and Mathos.

YES! Top 8 do I get my special little invite to Vegas??? lol

Ckit desereves honorary 1st for great commentary during some of the matches and just sitting there doing nothing the whole time. Even when he isn't playing I still idolize his greatness.

basically, they have your name now and theyll keep a record of it. so im pretty sure you just register like normal. and youll automatically be in the final bracket.

Well, at least I only lost to top 8 people, but unfortunately my name is spelled wrong (Jonathan not Jonathon).

Good stuff from everyone and I hope to get beaten into the ground by some of you in the near future.

Yeah, did anyone play against William Royster?

He's a black kid who played Falco and was pretty technical. He played Eddie first round of Winner's.

Basically, does anyone have the bracket?

Wow I only know of Mathos, Drephen, Viperboy, DMAC, and of course EDDIE!!!!!!

Now a bunch of brand new random people are gonna think they have a shot at the big leagues. Way to NOT represent your region, Midwest. Trail...you should have been there to regulate.

I knocked out William Royster. I beat his Falco then he tried his Sheik. I beat him in two consecutive rounds, I played as Sheik.

Heh, yeah, HugS, the field was kinda weak. That's partly Tink and I's fault, though; we both went but didn't enter since emergency registration was something along the lines of $45000000000. Approximately.

Trail, though... That guy was just making work and summer school johns all over the place.

Well, Hugs, there was a tournament in Cincinnati that same day and Pound2 was a week before that. Most of the people on the eastern side of the MW went to the Cincinnati tournament because of gas monies and Evo being ******** with registration.

He didn't self death at all as far as I can remember in tournament play. As far as how good he was, his technical skills were very good, but his ability to think on his feet, and to play against different people seemed to be lacking. But then again, he said it was one of his first tournaments.

I thought it was pretty good. Maybe not as many big name smashers as some of the other Evos, but the top few finishers were **** good. 44 people ended up showing up as well, which exceeded all of the other tourneys and probably the expectations of a lot of people.

Oh no no I'm sure all that was great, I'm really glad Evo is doing smash brothers these days and I'm glad that they perfected smash after only one blunder (evo south, single elim ftw).

Keep up the great work dude!

And maybe if the emergency registration wasn't so high more great smashers could've gone, is there anything you can do about that??? If not that's okay, ppl should be prepared anyways.
