Plus peanuts are basically pellets of fat your body can't easily break down.www.livingpaleo.com said:Legumes have a similar story to grains; they weren’t consumed by the paleo hunter-gatherer because they needed to be cooked in order to be edible. Legumes also have similar traits to grains in their make-up; they contain phytates which inhibit nutrient absorption and cause inflammation. They also contain lectins and play with healthy hormonal functions.
Types of legumes to avoid on the paleo diet include lentils, all beans (such as kidney beans, pinto beans and broad beans), peanuts (peanuts are a legume not a nut), soy beans and chickpeas.
Okay, I double checked and I'm actually a little wrong on some of these. Here's a chart:You can virtually SQUEEZE the oil out of things like Peanuts, Sesame or Pumpkin Seeds ... how does this relate to "a lot of processing"?

I know you're probably joking, here's a serious answer. You wouldn't be getting any protein, so it would only be sustainable in the short term. You also wouldn't get any fiber or fat so you would either have to consume way too many calories in order to become satiated or be hungry most of the time. It also doesn't cover all of the vitamins so you would develop deficiencies. Also, since some vitamins are fat soluble, some of the vitamins in the gummy bears wouldn't even be absorbed by your body. The ones that can be, however, you would be getting way too much of them and put additional stress on your system. It's a bad idea from all aspects.can I live on a diet of only vitamin gummy bears and water?
Enjoy your yo-yo effect.I even took it a step further and only eat 1000-1200 calories. For those interes my basal metabolic rate is close to 5000 during the fasting period. I've dropped 5-7lbs/week when I do this.
It is not difficult to get rid of the majority of lectins via soaking and boiling. Most legumes are coated in an enzyme that your body can't break down.
You wont read a 3 page thread but you want us to read your 400 page schlock about sentient plants with psychic auras to understand your belief that eating processed food is ****. Welp, consider me trolled. It is not difficult to get rid of the majority of lectins via soaking and boiling.
There are many ways to skin the proverbial cat. Paleo is one way, but (and I have not read through this entire massive thread, just the OP) if you're not eating free-range/organic meats/eggs/dairy, you're ****** your body.
I am vegan both for dietary concerns and moral concerns.
Anyone who thinks these moral concerns aren't bounded in the scientific method should check out The Secret Life of Plants by Peter Tompkins.
i'm curious i eat zero right now..just fried chick thighs.(no breading or season) and water
i do add salt substitute (extra potassium)
i wondering about adding fat more in terms of heavy cream/butter cream cheese ..macadamian nuts..
but want eat the same amount meat..will excess fat just excrete out and not add weight gain? so say i eat 10 thighs fried a day..if i have 8oz heavy cream to diet will it cause faster weight loss r nothing r gain?

The universe operates in a very simple manner. Like attracts like. If you think and talk and act out a lot of disbelief, that is all you'll attract. That is why you tend to see what affirms your beliefs. You are constantly being bombarded with evidence to the contrary, of course, but you only pick up what you are open to.You wont read a 3 page thread but you want us to read your 400 page schlock about sentient plants with psychic auras to understand your belief that eating processed food is ****. Welp, consider me trolled.
