But high up on the list of any Smash fan would be its special Smash 4 tournament. Boasting a $2,500 prize pools and $2,500 in giveaways this singles event has attracted some serious talent to attend. Let's take a look at some of the biggest threats coming to compete!
The Locals: California Brings It On!
Showing a pretty pink princess packs a punch will be SlayerZ. He can definitely roll with the best of them and will will a serious threat to watch at the event. Also in attendance is NME | Tyrant. His Meta Knight can kill an opponent off a single combo if they aren't careful. Mr. ConCon, othe first player to make ZeRo lose a set during his big win streak, brings his Luigi to show that no nerfs can stand in his way. Then there is Larry Lurr, commonly seen in top 8s at events and is currently is number one in the SoCal Power Rankings. Other power ranked players coming from SoCal include Zan, TLTC, Tearbear, ImHip, K9sbruce, Markus, VoiD and Zenyou playing as Toon Link, Palutena, Captain Falcon, Olimar, Sheik, Kirby, Sheik, and Mario respectively.
Vegas Brings The Heat!
Some of the best Smashers in Vegas are coming in to take on the local talent! The two biggest names to look out for are Z and Snoop. Z is mostly know for his Pikachu play but can use many other characters. He's currently ranked second on the Vegas Power Rankings and it is easy to see why. Snoop will give viewers a unique chance to see a top level Yoshi as be shows off what the 8th power ranked player in Vegas can do! Other Vegas talent in attendance will include Pollo with Marth, Vash with Little Mac, Gloomy with Toon Link, and Steelsburg with Mr. Game and Watch.
Two names any Smash 4 fan will know are also making the big trip to California to compete. DKwill, famous Donkey Kong player since the days of Brawl, will be able to attend the event thanks to winning the 2GGrant by getting the most votes from fans. Panda Global's SS will also be coming from Arizona where he'll put his number 1 power ranked Ness and Villager to the test. Also the champion of Smash 4 himself ZeRo will be coming out to the event. Will any of these players be able to take him down?
