Etalus and 1.1.0 Update are out for Rivals of Aether II!

Etalus_Fix.jpg

Rivals of Aether II just received its first free playable DLC character, Etalus!

And Etalus isn’t all that’s new, he comes alongside the 1.1.0 patch, which brings a couple new features. Firstly there’s three beginner tutorials now, with one each for learning basic offense, defense and movement. Secondly, this patch has a new server reporting feature, for when the server you’re playing has connection issues. There’s also new Arcade Mode rewards, including unlockable Abyss skin palettes for each character. Additionally, a creator program launched alongside the patch, and content creators can apply as of today. Finally, the patch also brought us a couple bug fixes. For a full list of changes you can read the official patch notes here.

Author’s Note: I've been looking forward to Etalus’ release for a while now. I’m very excited to play as and against him once I’ve got some free time. Are you excited for Etalus too? Please let us know in the comments below!

absolutely love his moveset! the rivals 2 devs have consistently shown that they handle their game and its development with so much care, hope to get around to playing etalus sometime :)

Rivals is a weirdly designed game, it seems obvious it was never intended to have shields and grabs, though I appreciate their addition. Needs a major rework though. Etalus shows this well, he just doesn't hit the same.
