Nintendo just announced an Emio - The Smiling Man: Famicom Detective Club demo is on the way. It will be available on the Nintendo Switch for free August 19th, 2024 6 PM PT / 9 PM ET.

Notably, the demo will allow for save data to transfer over to the main game. Additionally, it will receive more content as the game’s launch on August 29th, 2024 approaches. When the demo first launches, players can play the prologue and chapter one, The Urban Legend. Then chapter 2, Disappearance, unlocks on the 22nd at 6 PM PT / 9 PM ET. Lastly, chapter 3, The Language of Flowers becomes playable on August 27th once again at 6 PM PT / 9 PM ET.
