I do wonder what the chances of something XCX related being in the rumored non-Smash direct this month are, though. Takahashi pulling a cheeky "well I did say porting it would be hard and expensive, which is why we started on it last year" would make my month.

Honestly though don't lose hope if the Grinch is real! It increases the chances of a dual Xenoblade reveal since Rex and Elma would no longer have to compete with characters like Banjo, Isaac, Geno, etc. Honestly Isaac imo is the real Xenoblade killer considering that he's also from a niche jrpg that still has a sizeable fanbase

They'd best be prepared for that then, since the Isaac as an AT thing is looking very likely right now.

Which is unfortunate for them. I'm not an Isaac fan, but he's cool and his fans have wanted him for a long time. I'd rather have him in than not.

On the same reasoning as Elma, why hold it until know if Isaac is just a AT, are they wanting to piss people on purpose? If he is a AT, should have been shown together with Asheley and cia.

He had mentioned the leak didn't match what his sources said based off Incineroar missing and Isaac being an AT.

Every normal attack that hits an opponent adds a little, tilts add a bit more, smash's add a lot, and specials add a whole lot. The larger the counter, the faster and stronger Elma is and when it reaches MAX her Skell shows up and she blasts the **** outta the stage

Why'd she need to go Super Saiyan Blue if she's already in permanent Ultra Instinct?

Cool as that sounds, I hope that that's not what her Final Smash ends up being. I'm just too consistently rubbish at using Bayonetta's Final Smash to find the idea of this appealing, lol.

I don't think Sakurai knows that characters being relegated to assist trophies and mii costumes pisses people off.

I could accept Elma as an assist trophy- but the endless heckling and jeering from people who feel vindicated that "X is just a spin-off, trash game, good riddance" is another thing entirely. No one starts **** over Alucard or Zero being assist trophies; no-one has bones to pick over whether they're good characters from good games. Sakurai's own biases towards XB1/2 certainly don't help.
