EGM to Have Brawl Filled Issue Next Month

Seriously people, we already have a perfectly good source of info for Brawl: the Dojo. I doubt we will get new info anywhere else, but the Dojo.

It's not impossible, I don't see why people doubt that there is a possibility we could get information OUTSIDE the Dojo. This may not be the same thing but we got info from conferences and certain events that weren't the Dojo.

To prove it I have a few questions,

• Have they announced swimming on the Dojo?
• No
• How did we find out about it?
• A video
• Have they announced Sonic or Zero Suit Samus's Final Smashes?
• No
• Do we know them?
• Yes, we found out from the demo.

There are more things too that we know about the game that we didn't find out from the Dojo, so there always IS a possibility that we might find out something new from EGM, not likely, but possible.

I like EGM. Remember the giant Halo 3 "everything but the ending" issue? It wasnt exactly everything but the ending, but it WAS definitely worth reading and very informative. I am betting the Brawl issue will be the same.

You weren't suppose to video record at e for all, yet many did, thus why we found out "early" I suppose, even though Dojo already revealed these. The E for All was officially from Dojo, so basically it wasn't outside dojo. There isn't a single outside source that told us something we didn't know. Everything meantioned was either from Dojo, By Dojo, or updated on dojo a week later

Dont forget that anyone that didnt go to E for All and dosent go on Smashboards wouldent know -any- of these things. there is a pic on Dojo of Dedede swiming tho. its the one with the fish.

Nobody did, Neither did I. So don't quote me as if I'm making that generalization. We've gave too much credit to these non-reliable magazines and "sources" which all disappointed us. Yes, it's "possible" it MIGHT reveal something new.

But then again, Using that mentality I can use the word "might" with anything.

Corocoro MIGHT tell us new information.

All in all you shouldn't have hope or faith in speculation. It's just something to do to pass time. You don't want to end up like that one guy who made an entire thread whinning because Waluigi didn't get in..

That's what happens when you rely on blind hopes and having too much confidence in you're own world.

Jesus, I'd think people would of learned a lesson about not being so gullible to every little piece of information they hear by now.

I recently heard a podcast interview with the EIC of EGM. The way he described it, they are focusing the cover story on some of the characters (think big ol' overviews of Kid Icarus, Mother 3, etc.) and the Smash fan community. No mention of any exclusive information, so don't get your hopes up.

However, there will be 16 different covers, which sounds fun.

I won't get my hopes up. This has happened too many times where we expect to find out new brawl info, but nothing happens.

This way, if there's no new info, it won't matter because I never had my hopes up. But if there is new info, then it's good for me. Win-win.

dont think we'll get anything new from a magazine by the time they come out they're all out dated. dojo is our only real source. EGM will proabaly give us a 2-3 page article on brawl with all the info we already know

anybody see the SSBB in Gamepro article on the top 48 games of 2008, SSBB got 30th while mario kart wii got 13th best how did that happen lol. Also one of the negative things they said is that nintendo dogs blocks the screen while playing.
