To be honest, I have no idea if I wanna keep updating this thread, especially after tuttyfruity's gigantic post lol
It's not laziness honestly for all my threads (the MU thread is definitely laziness tho) it's just smashboards keeps track of most tournaments as long as the TO enters it into their system or the bad way by just keeping it on facebook or left in the void forever (which fb is basically that kinda, will be lost in the flow of "anyone wanna 1v1?" "Who going to X tournament later this week?" "chek out muh tierlizt")

It sucks for some japanese yoshi's or small scenes like Zude's for example since they of course don't use smashboards (the TOs) but as much as I'd like to keep updating this thread forever, Smashboards rankings might have more tournaments added than this thread, just less organized of course.

Maybe I'll keep updating the thread, just the tuttyfruity post is kinda overwhelming and with the size of the OP, I might need to trim it down a bit or Delta needs to provide me a third post to put down archives already almost a year into this game lol.

Sorry about the dump. Our scene's TO presence is markedly scarce on Smashboards outside of major tournaments (which is to say, after Nexus, they don't really care). It's not really a priority for them.

It's only recently that we shifted to Challonge from TIO Pro for bracket organization (and even then only partially as they still use TIOPro's skill levels for seeding). I'll inform my TO about their tournament tracking feature but without a thread like this most of my results are doomed to the void.

Figured this'd be a good place to start. I was going to post about some Yoshi discoveries soonish but I need to actually record them before I can do that.

I keep losing to the same 3 people, one being my training partner. My 7th placing was due to bad seeding on their behalf since I lost to PR people who got 4th and 2nd that tournament.

I need to make it out to more of our big tournaments but I'm really busy on weekends especially these last few months so I do what I can.

Update incoming for Oct results. Did pretty good this month. We had five out of state guests come to visit Hawaii -- Larry, False, DKWill, MikeKirby, and MaxKetchum. Surprisingly, I was able to take a set off all of them except for DKWill (cargo up throw uair strong af lol). I leveled up a ton from playing with them. Also I finally got first in a tourney! I got lots of exciting sets to show in the vid thread haha.

Just for brevity purposes:

Every tournament was solo Yoshi.
Early tournaments had my tag as zToast.
Eventually I transferred to the name "The Wall".
Some tournaments have my tag SU, some do not. It's not a sponsor, merely to show I'm a team member (dealing with technical things like stream/recording equipment, setups, etc).
For color purposes, I switch between Purple and Red. Purple being my main considering it's the color SU rocks. Everyone seems to want to use it though >.>


There's still some Smash Fight Clubs and Katy Smash League's missing but it's not too big of a deal. This just kind of shows a start to finish progression I've made in Houston.
