This ECE was so much fun! Every match I played was exciting. I'll stay hydrated next time because I'm pretty sure my hand cramps are due to me not drinking water all day.

Big thanks to VGBC for letting me commentate. I hope we can get you guys to come to another ECE, because it's the one tourney I'm most likely to go to.

Why so many bye's? Technically, many who placed 25th and 17th actually have the same records. Regardless, still great tournament!

Many Byes are unavoidable if you barely have over 2^n entrants.
And the same records thing is going to happen with Byes. Also unavoidable unless you have exactly 2^n entrants. It should never matter how many people you beat anyway, but instead who you beat.

Very true. Honestly, I didn't place too high myself unfortunately. Just curious about the bye issue. But I get it now, thanks. :)

Interesting. I tried using the 1-10 skill ranking system as that was recommended by more experienced TOs, but Tio must have the "bye" rated >1. I haven't had this problem before, so I believe this is why it happened. In the future, I'll return to my previous seeding method.

Thanks for the tournament - I had a blast! It was my first time so I wasn't expecting much, but I took notes and got some great advice. Also P:M doubles friendlies were so much fun!
