1st things First. I wana say thanks to all who came to this. This Was a Pretty Big Tournament for just a local.
72 PPL confirmed in the venue and over almost 70 entrants for these events.
I wana make a big Shoutout to Quebec for taking a visit to Ontario once again and sharing some fond merories with us once more.
Shoutouts to the PM + Melee Communites for coming to this. you guys made this big just as much as everyone else so i thank you for coming and hoped you had a good time.
Shoutouts to Everyone who was able to spread this around and able to bring more ppl to this event. im glad i was able to see old + newcomers coming back to a&c and having a good time.
Shoutouts to To Joe, V115, Fisch, BP and others helping me out with seeding helping out with the tournament and for those who brought setups.

This had a very good outcome to say the Least, but there were still problems that occured, (freezing wii's, delayed brackets + amateurs, long waits for matches, stream setups, A&C Internet, etc.) this was a very hard tournament to run and had alot of problems throughout the night so i apologize that you guys had to wait awhile and hopefully, this didn't effect you into coming back for future torunaments! I will definitely be taking notes on this and work on making things run faster in the future.

if you have any feedback about the tournament how you felt about it, anything to improve on plz post and i'll take that into consideration and use that to my advantage next tournament. Until next time guys and enjoy the results

Only MK, Falco and ROB in the amateur bracket. I'll probably do characters to the best of my knowledge for that when I get home.

For P:M - I used all MK, TOJoe used Zss (not sure if he used Snake), Raynex used Fox/Wolf/Pit(?), CoffeeBlack used Falcon (at least against me, not sure who else he used vs other people), MPrime used Falco, Leafshadow used Ivysaur, Mr. L used Marth, and for the rest I'm not sure about.

ggs to everyone I got to play in any of the 3 events, friendlies or MMs. I had a lot of fun this tourney, there was an unexpectedly high turnout and I hope to continue having a lot of people show up. It was especially nice to see some new faces for Brawl and some more people from the Melee community to play P:M.

ggs to those I played, and sorry I cast aside some MMs and friendlies I'd agreed to - the tourney schedule said bracket would start at 5 so I told my friend/ride home I'd be done by 8 latest, so I threw my current match and left around 8 (we had plans for later that eve). Hopefully next time things get started quicker and people who entered PM only don't leave with their setups as soon as they get knocked out (looking at a few individuals in particular only)

The awful irony was our way home when we stopped somewhere to eat, I put my bag out of sight in the car. Someone must've seen me move it there (from afar) because they broke the window of my friends car and stole only my bag, which contained my laptop, ipod, GC control, chargers, hard drive, clothes and toiletries for the weekend (since I was visiting waterloo), cards, and many other sentimental gifts and possessions inside. We ended up getting home soo late in the end, and with near frostbite since we had to clean and garbage bag a broken window in subzero weather. I wish I'd stayed later and enjoyed the tourney, but I guess you can't really predict these things

Anyway, that sh it aside, fun tourney, and nice seeing you all again!

Sorry about this running so late guys, especially to those from Montreal that had to choose between not missing the bus and sticking around to watch/play GFs. Also to those who couldn't stay around and complete their amateur bracket (SMew2, P. Lemonade, Jesse, Adrian, Raphael, Zetsu, Skyler, etc).

To those of you in particular that entered the amateur bracket but then forfeited and left the venue because it was running late, it's completely understandable and I'm not trying to knock you at all for it but please, in the future, if you need to leave early, let one of the tournament organizers know. It creates unnecessary complications and wastes time (which is clearly something we need to cut down on) when we don't know whether somebody has left the tournament for good or is just out getting food or something.

- I used Marth in pools...so if you're going to count me using Marth in dubs even though I didn't win a game with him in dubs, then throw him in there for singles too cause I won 3 sets and took a game off MPrime with Marth in pools
- White forfeited after pools cause he had to leave early, so Luka made it into bracket instead.
- Raphael and Jesse forfeited out of PM amateurs cause they had to leave early
- Mr. L forfeited during Grand Finals cause he had to leave
- Zetsu, P. Lemonade and Skyler Silver all forfeited out of Brawl amateurs cause they had to leave early.

13. Ryoko - - At least you made it out of pools, though I don't think you getting 9th/7th at this tournament was unrealistic. Your pool was probably the hardest anyway.

In all honesty bro I have no one to blame but my self for coming in dead last. All the IRL crap I had to deal with is not really an excuse
(I'm apparently getting evicted soon? and the person who was told this information just somehow thought they should call me and tell me that 15 min before doubles bracket started).

But to the main point I pretty much spent to much time/energy worrying about whether I was going to make it out of Pools or not, I was mainly worried due to previous Exp with Morks and Mr. L. I faced Morks in Impulse pools along with T.O joe and some others, Whilst I faced Mr. L in friendlies a bit at either this impulse or last I can't really remember. The bottom line is they both destroyed me and While I did lose 0-2 to Morks I kinda do feel like i was cheated game 2 not to discredit how he bopped me but tripping when your both over 120% and you just landed a double down smash on a snake can be a little demoralizing.

beating Mr.L Took a lot out of me because not only was I trying not to get over confident cause he beat Morks and I 2-0'd him I still have a lot to learn,Acknowledge and respect in regards to the MK match up which is what he used when we had to settle our tie to get see who got out of pools.

I may have lost against Joe in pro bracket for my first set but I still gave it a shot and managed to get him to 1 stock game 1 (due to him Shuttle looping to kill me and then being to low) , He then proceeded to Up air trap me into nado over the top kill and then bopped me next game.

Now as for Yoh I need to seriously work on my falco match up because there are just things I lack when it comes to planning approaches while being laser'd every other second (which was my fault since I gave him the room and repeatedly mistimed/spaced my side b which I wanted to hit him as he landed and was going to do second laser. In what seemed like a hopeless situation in Game 1 where Yoh had 2 stocks on me I started getting over zealous and tried rushing the kill which to my surprise I did get and then was thinking to my self " I need a Zss down smash infinitude on him right now which again to my surprise I started from 0% on him.
However I was foolish and ended it 2-3 down smashes to early at like 50% +2 staled downsmashed -> back air instead of a side b or fair. then I lost when we were both over 110%

Then I decided to jump right back in to the set which was reckless after losing I should have taking the 1 minute to go and receive council/coaching(I CP dolphino instead of just like castle siege ,smashville act)

My honest Issue with Yoh when I play him is that his defensive play style + his timing in pushing (due to wifi) is down right Impeccable. That's Ok though I am just going to Run a Falco Gauntlet every time I make it to a smashfest at some point ill just face all the falcos there in Bo5 sets with striking and banning like tourney sets, I've worked on my marth now its falcons turn to die >;}

Thanks for the encouragement man. It's tough going up against people for the first time. Those ****ing Dedede and Falco players man lol chaingrabs can piss off. But definitely if me and LackadaisyAlax find some time off from work and school soon we'll be coming out to a lot more, thanks again.
