The number of games a character has appeared has nothing to do with their chances in Brawl. Especially if half of them are Party and Sports games. What SHOULD influence wether a character should get in Brawl is wether that character is popular, important and has moveset potential. Things like having new games to promote also affect a characters chances but Birdo and Kamek dont tick any of these aforementioned boxes.

Even if I think Kamek isnt that bad of a choice.

Goombas are generic, both birdo and kamek are indivduals,yes they both have a species that looks similar to them but that shouldn't stop them from getting in.

Birdo would be a Yoshi clone, but she'd still have the mushroom as her symbol. Dixie Kong would never get in before King K. Rool. Mona or Jimmy T would get in way WAY before Ashley. Midna may get in but more people would rather have WW Link. Jigglypuff won't get dropped. Macaiah will more likely get in Brawl. Palutena is party of Pit's FS so she's not gonna be playable. You also forgot Isaac and a Animal Crossing Character.

you gotta be freaking dilusional thinking WW Link has proitory over Midna, even though hes got more games midnas not got more fanbase and less clone potienal. Birdo could easily be a heavily modified yoshi clone.

So for 2 games, Sakurai is going to have 1 MOTHER character, then suddenly put in 2 from MOTHER 3? C'mon, Lucas is pushing it, but Claus? I haven't played MOTHER 3, so I'm not going to argue move potential, but if any more characters from that series are in, they're going to be from MOTHER 2. Ya know... the one that actually saw a worldwide release?

He's already said he doesn't want to put too much emphasis on Japan Only titles , and he's already got Marth (yes, it would be stupid to leave him out afterall), Lucas, Devil, the X music, and the other Japan Only Update music.

Not much, but compared to what we've got... it kinda speaks for itself. I'm still sure that the only MOTHER characters we'll see are Ness and Lucas.

Though Paula has a shot simply because she's female, and Smash is in desperate need of them.

Ness will be back. Notice Lucas' specials are all similar, but work very different.
Plus his physical game is nothing like Ness'

I really don't see Claus happening. I see Pokey with a better chance than Claus.

On that note, a Giygas Void stage would own.

Isaac is on my list. I'm not personally a fan of Geno and think other characters are more deserving of the third party slots. K. Rool is a possibility although DK did already get another rep. and again I'm not a huge fan of him.
