Today, Dreamhack announced the events that will comprise the 2017 season of its Smash Championship event series. This year, a $100,000 prize pool will be divided among 6 events; two in in Sweden, four in North America. All of the events, except for the two in Sweden, will feature both Super Smash Bros. Melee and Super Smash Bros. for Wii U.

The events will be at the following:
Dreamhack Austin (Austin, TX) | April 28-April 30th | $10,000 in both Super Smash Bros. Melee & 4
Dreamhack Summer (Jönköping, Sweden) | June 17th- June 19th | $10,000 in Super Smash Bros Melee
Dreamhack Montreal (Atlanta, Georgia) | July 21st - July 23rd | $10,000 in both Super Smash Bros. Melee & 4
Dreamhack Montreal (Montreal, Canada) | September 8th - September 10th | $10,000 in both Super Smash Bros. Melee & 4
Dreamhack Denver (Denver, Colorado) | October 20th - October 22nd | $10,000 in both Super Smash Bros. Melee & 4
Dreamhack Winter (Jönköping, Sweden) | June 17th- June 19th | $10,000 in Super Smash Bros Melee
