This is a question I was also wondering. I'd only imagine there's a whole new Metagame to comprehend, not just some tips you can throw into training. I could be wrong, but I hope I'm not, as it would definitely make this game even more in-depth and fun!

i'd assume just doing your usual training routine with 2 comps and your friend would start well. practice juggling between the two of you, and also saving each other from helpless mode by lasers/soft hits

I play doubles on occassion and I have found that there are a few skills that make a team good. Though I'm no expert, so don't take this as gospel...
> being able to fight close to each other without hitting each other
> being able to save each other (from being edge guarded, juggled, ganged up on, etc.)
> having a good system of one of you using projectiles to trap the other team while your teammate demolishes them
> working in sync (at first you'll have to actually talk to each other until you get a system down)

I haven't really trained for doubles. I pretty much just practice with friends. It does seem a little more effective to practice with the same person on your team. It sounds like you already do that, though. Hope this helped!
