How would DK Jr. make a comeback when our current DK is the grown-up version of him?

Donkey Kong Jr. and Donkey Kong were both excellent games. They were classics. However, I don't think he'd make a very good addition to the Super Smash Bros game. I'd much rather see Diddy Kong in the game for two reasons:

Donkey Kong Jr. would most likely be a clone of Donkey Kong because of his character model. Donkey Kong and Donkey Kong Jr. look strikingly similar. No doubt Donkey Kong Jr. would fit amongst the clones as a smaller, faster, weaker version of DK. I just don't see Nintendo giving him his own moveset.

Diddy Kong has many differences from Donkey Kong. He has those peanut shooters, his simian spring, his electric guitar, etc.

The one thing that annoyed me about Super Smash Bros Melee was that they had those ridiculus clones. It seemed to me like Nintendo's final struggle to pop out characters because they were on deadline. I think this time they should take it slowly and work hard to produce unique characters.

Point taken, Kori samurai. Nintendo did take out good characters and replaced them with clones (The only ones I use are Gannandorf and roy), like Meta-Knight, Pit, and of course, Diddy Kong.

I'm using flash to make a movie in a fight with Diddy and DK JR to find out who makes it in Brawl. The winner may suprise you...

Yeah he was in frigging Mario Tennis 64. Guess what? He's got replaced by noone other then Diddy in the GC version. Not only that, he also appeared in Mario Kart Double Dash, Mario Golf Toadstool Tour, Mario Superstar Baseball and he;s being planned for Mario Hoops 3-on-3 (which has Dixie, yeah DIXIE in there to before DK jr). If Rare wasnt with Nintendo anymore at that time, im sure Diddy would've been at DK Jr's place as DK's partner. Not to mention he's getting a remake of his own game (when did we saw a remake of DK jr eh?) which was the most original racing game on the N64, which didnt got populairty because of Mario and his gang (even DK wasn't in there only Diddy and all new characters).

But then again, Nintendo didn't own Banjo-Kazooie or Pefect Dark out of Rare being 2nd party. So, no, I had it right. I believe DKC was Nintendo approaching Rare, and then something like Banjo-Kazooie was Rare developed just under Nintendo's funding. So they were able to take it with them when they left. DKC still had a hand in it from Nintendo.

If you still firmly disagree, then why did they change Princess Peach into Princess Toadstool in America? Did it sound too wierd? When Miyamoto found that out, he was so upset, he could do better than Segata Sanshiro in this video, by breaking three concrete blocks with the back of his head instead. Donkey Kong JR. is still unforgotten by Nintendo.

DK Jr will not be in Brawl before Diddy because of many reason, but the main one being:

He's just DK when he was younger.

Okay and we all know that Sakurai is removing characters from Smash with the most likely being: Dr.Mario, Roy, Pichu and Young Link.

Why did I bolded Y.Link and Pichu? Well because they are basically Link and Pikachu when they where younger, which means they have the same moves as their older counterpart.

DK Jr would be just as Y.Link and Pichu a clone of a unique character which should stay unique because DK was one of the big 12.

Still Nintendo ****ed up too badly with DK already... We need Diddy and no DK jr. DK Jr would even **** the timeline up more.

Oh yeah and why did Diddy replaced DK jr in any games since Nintendo fully owned him?
And Diddy's rights are 100% with Nintendo. Otherwise Im sure Diddy would make a cameo in Conker Life and Reloaded.

And Diddy did made more appearances then DK Jr. Oh and you could add Mario Golf: Toadstoul Tour to Diddy's apearances to. And since the DKC's where ported to the GBA you can count that as a game to since some people regonise him from 'that Donkey Kong GBA game'. And DKC 1 was ported to the Gameboy Color to. Also Diddy made a cameo in the Arcade Mario Kart game. HEY that makes alot of more appearences! Dont just copy from Wikipedia.

And as upcomming tittles: He's in Mario Strikers 2 to... DK Jr will be a clone and he SHOULD be a clone because he's Donkey Kong himself.

Diddy has replaced DK Jr's role in every way. And thats only logical, since DK Jr grew up to DK himself.

Rather than make fun of you for claiming Miyamoto hasn't forgotten DK Jr. despite not using him since Donkey Kong ’94 (aka NOT Mario Tennis or Game & Watch Gallery, which is ironic in itself, because Miyamoto was the PRODUCER of Donkey Kong Country and Donkey Kong Jungle Beat *GASPNOTRARE* yet didn't make much of an effort to put in his 'favourite' character), but instead I'll just dissect your even more flawed analogy to Yuji Naka. Oh, and just quickly, PEACH STILL HAS TOADSTOOL AS HER LAST NAME IN SUPER MARIO 64. Just thought I’d point that out.

Firstly, Yuji Naka is NOT THE CREATOR OF SONIC. He was a major programmer for the original game. He later became the head of Sonic Team. He had a significant role in the character's video game series, but he hardly deserves praise for the creation of somebody else's character *cough*Naoto Ohshima*cough*

Also Sonic Advance 3's instruction booklet openly states that Sonic likes chilli dogs. It's even dumber that people should have to prove that when it's blaringly obvious that he was just joking about their McDonalds promotion:

I used to miyamoto but recently he has done nothing but dissapoint. Rare and Paon are the only ones that can make a DK game, Nintendo EAD sucks arse and should be bombed on a count of how crap they make games, I'm not getting Super Mario Galaxys in fear that the game will be **** because of how crap Jungle Beat was.

Everything Rare says about the DK franchise is canon because they pretty much made the franchise, they introduced a real story, introduced characters (except DK jr who is DK and DK sr. who is Cranky) and they got the series popular. Everything Miyamoto says is generally just a personal attack against rare because they make better Donkey Kong games than him and he knows it, and he is a spoiled brat who always gets his way, he was proberly like that as a child too. Do you know what's really funny the best DK games are the ones where he had little or no involvment in (The Donkey Kong Countrys, Lands, 64 and King of Swing)
