Dolphin no longer reads GC controller

So yesterday I was playing ssbm w/ my mayflash gamecube adapter & @Play gc controller. But today, after playing melee on my friend's Wii (with said controller) while dolphin reads the adapter, it doesn't read the controller. I have tried plugging and unplugging the adapter, using different ports, reloading Dolphin, but nothing works. Can anyone help me out? (EDIT: The adapter and controller work on Wii U}
