Do you know why updates recently "suck"?

FIRST, E-For-All stuff updates.
People weren't supposed to know that stuff. Unless they went to the event and played the game. However, people there were nice enough to break the "no filming" rule so we could have some news of the game.

SECOND, even if you already know certain stuff (example: Wario), they HAVE to be included, so the site isn't left incomplete. On the old DOJO, Sakurai only had character "bios" for newcomers. I doubt anyone liked it.

So basically, Sakurai updates about stuff we already know because he doesn't realize you know about it, and because he has to. Altough I do understand why people complain about certain updates, like Widescreen Support.

Umm, yep, that's pretty much it. And since we're nearing release, people are just 'expecting' character updates more since they're impatient.

I wouldn't mind it if there were no more updates until the release, honestly. Yes, it helps build hype but I want to discover a lot of the aspects of the game on my own. I don't know about you guys.

I actually want an update on the Metroid AT and the Deku Nut item because every video I've seen barely shows them if at all, and there isn't much explained about them other than appearing.

Lets listen to this guy. We should be happy that Sakurai takes his time every week day to update the dojo when he works on Brawl.

The suckier updates are on account of...
1) The delay from 12/3/07-02/10/08. Sakurai has to fill each weekday with something, regardless if it isn't liked by the public as much as others.
2) E4All. For us it seems a curse, but there are still people who haven't heard news of Smash from E4A, let alone know what E4A is. But they still hear on the Dojo updates. We just got the information and revealed a ton over a few days rather then letting the E4A info trickle out slowly over time.

Just remember that we were delayed about a month before original release time. When that 1-month period comes again in January (soon ), we'll probably be getting better updates based on it being the actual approximate schedule time. Scratch that, probably 3/4 of it on account of the fact that Sakurai has probably revealed 1/4 over the delay time. Sooo, we'll be getting good stuff. We just have to wait a tad longer.

No. E for all was part of it but we've actually just been getting alot of crappy updates that had nothing to do with E for all. Like widescreen

The updates have been pretty good since last Thursday.

I'mean with two stages AND Stafy, it's been pretty sweet.
Maybe Stafy'll make it playable next time...
Maybe NOA'll see Stafy and use the spotlight of Brawl to bring him to the states!

Because the updates were suppose to end December 3rd. Now he has to span the updates all the way To Jan 24th, and he doesn't intend on spoiling much more.

He's done releasing new stunning information. Now it's just things to pace until it's release

Who says the updates were going to end when the game comes out? Smash Bros. Dojo is an encyclopedic website. While it does serve as a hype machine right now, who's to say it won't continue being updated past release in order to serve as the ultimate Smash Brothers information center?

Maybe cause they had Brawl scheduled to be out by Dec. 3rd and ran out of updates, cause that was when they would have ended the updates (probably). So now, they have to get whatever they can to outlast the next 2 months.
