This is something that always confused me a lot in Smash 4...the claims that certain elemental attacks had specific properties based solely on them being that element (I have no idea what fire does though). The best example I had heard was that electrical attacks cause more shield stun, which makes sense, but I never got a chance to test it.
That said, I'm trying to figure out differences in ultimate, and playing around with Samus/Dark Samus has left me wondering if there is any difference between the fact that one has electrical based tilts/aerials/smashes and the other has fire ones. I tried testing it and couldn't find anything, but I don't have anyone to test it with so it's hard to determine it objectively.
Has anyone figured anything out regarding this and whether it returned in Ultimate? For all I know it could just be some huge myth I've been believing since Smash 4, so I'm just trying to see if someone can set the record straight.
