For you guys, Wolf shouldnt be 60:40. It should be 80:20, or something ridiculously high for you guys. In addition some other match ups should also sway in your favor.

on ganon
down throw x n > forward throw (0~80%)
on falco
down throw x n > forward throw (52~130%)
up to 52%, falco can get out by holding shield
from about 73%, down throw needs to be diminished
from about 120% falco can get out
on wolf
down throw x n > forward throw (20~230%)
up till about 20% wolf can get out by down B
from about 220% wolf can get out by down B
on bowser
down throw x n > down B (0~180%+)
up to 168%, everything could be buffered
from 169%, wario can continue the chaingrab by walking (not recommended)

-characters i dont know the %

on dk
down throw x n > forward throw
on captain falcon
down throw x n > forward throw

Gee thx fiction >=[ lol

<3 RPK

I hate how most, if not all, of the new discoveries revolve around grabs and CGs... It's getting dull.

Well, these Chaingrabs are actually pretty old =\ They were discovered around May or March of LAST YEAR.
Which just shows how dead these forums are D: All this kind of info should've been compiled into a thread long ago~

Thing is, I remember when these cgs were posted up and people tested them and supposedly they did not work at all, especially against the spacies. Only one worth using was the cg against DK and Ganon. Did something else come up after that thread? Like do those cgs work now? Please answer homies.

I think he was just saying "Waft has a large hitbox, but it's biggest while charged."

I found a Wario combo on Lucas as finisher. I force him to ground release and immediately forward smash (which has enough range to hit Lucas). Is this a good idea? Is this escapable?

Captain Falcon can chain grab Wario, by air release dair, jab, regrab, but it's not so easy for him because the range is short, also he can air release into sweetspotted knee, otherwise Wario beats him.

Wario has poor attack range, but his grab range is very long. I like both dtrow chain grab and forward throw.
I don't know if he would be on top 5 if he had a better grab release.

Grab releases don't affect Wario in a big way, maybe grab release Fsmash could be big, but it's nothing we can't overcome.

Now grab releases on Wario are among the most famous, notably because it's an easy way to finish off a Wario.

Wario's grounded attack range is MASSIVE, he just suffers from poor horizontal aerial range (save for backair).

wow, the matchup chart makes wario seem to be 2nd best in the game O_O. i hope it is all accurate.
a lot of useful information though, wario is a lot of fun and i will definitely main him if mk gets banned lol.
the only thing i am having trouble believing is DDD vs wario >_<. how can it possibly be wario's favor?
the wario can put up a good fight trying not to get grabbed... but he can't seem to completely avoid getting grabbed... and once he does it's cg to up smash every time... this racks up a lot of damage and can lead to an easily kill.
also, what can wario do against DDD's bair? doesn't it outrange all of wario's moves ?

Wario has very few bad matchups, this is true, but DMG's guide is biased poop :p

Marth, D3, Peach (maybe) are really Wario's only hard matchups, but they're not like WOAHMG Hard, they're like 60:40 tops. We believe he deserves top 3 in the game.
