If you don't already know, mewtwo's disable's animation has changed & so has confusion's properties. So let us begin with disable. These are basic change notes for anyone who does not know, so this is a rather small thread.
Disable - The animation has changed entirely, with instead a large series of white star like flashes [Such as the ones that appear for a fast fall animation] that quickly move forward, the animation has mewtwo stand entirely without crouching, which most likely is either done to make it more effective against tall characters, or more likely for the general sight & spoce perspective of the game, along with obvious cosmetic changes. It boasts a green line of energy that extremely small & hard to see, that line is the hitbox of disable. It seems to have less ending lag as well, and a better hitbox for hitting smaller characters, despite the visuals making it serm very small, so it leads me to believe that the hitbox has also bern buffed. (Theory) It may also have less end lag.
Confusion - Confusion now has actual (possible theory but it has been backed up by other sources) hitstun, allowing mewtwo to act out of confusion before the opponent does, allowing for actual follow ups! It also has been merfed as well, having nearly no airbounce anymore, & the distance that it can travel in the air has been reduced so much to the point that it might not even be viable as a recovery option, and the speed of the move seems to be slower as well. Despite all of this, it unquestionably may possibly have a future in ultimate mewtwo's follow-up game!
Keep in mind that these may or may not be true, but to most my knowledge all of this is confirmed. Hope this helps!
