WELCOME TO THE JURASSIC LEAGUE SUPPORT THREAD
What the Heck is the Jurassic League???
The Jurassic League is a new 6 issue miniseries published by DC Comics and written by Warren Johnson and Juan Gedeon that re-imagines the Justice League and other DC characters as anthropomorphic Dinosaurs! What the Heck is the Jurassic League???
As of the creation of this thread, the series has only come out with its first issue on May 10th, yet it features a wide range of saurian counterparts to popular DC characters, many of whom are still in Multiversus such as Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman. However, these versions of the popular characters are from an alternate Earth where dinosaurs, cavemen, and other prehistoric creatures coexist. Superman's counterpart, known as Supersaur is a gentle giant Brachiosaur, Batman, or Batwalker is a fast and ferocious Allosaur, and Wonderwoman/Wonderdon is a herbivorous, yet fierce Triceratops. A villain that also debuted in Jurassic League #1 is a new saurian version of the Joker known as Jokerzard, who is a Jurassic Park-style Dilophosaurus. A few other DC characters make appearances, but I will be mostly focusing on those who already appear in Multiversus.
Why Jurassic League?
How Could Jurassic League be Implemented into Multiversus?
It is difficult to find good character concepts for a series that just started as of writing this post. However, there are a few characters who look like they can be featured as their own standalone fighters, such as the above-mentioned Dilophosaurus Jokerzard. He has a silhouette that is fairly unique and he already shows off a few moves in Issue #1 that could be translated into a fighting game pretty well, such as his venomous spit attack. However, a far more likely option would be to make some of the Jurassic League members into skins for already existing characters. While Jokerzard is noticeably less humanoid, Bat-walker, Supersaur, and Wonderdon have distinct human silhouettes that can mesh with the skeletons and animations of their human counterparts. While Wonder Woman may be too slim to fit the proportions of the comparatively bulky Wonderdon, Bat-walker and Supersaur don't have that same issue and would be able to fit the same proportions of their human counterparts easily.
