Different colors for beamsword?

In that SSE video yesterday, I think i saw a primid holding a green beamsword, around the part people think they saw captain falcon. you can sort of see it in this picture.

I don't know if that's a primid only item or something, but do you think that the beamword might have different colors?

Multi colored beam swords for the dark and light jedi...sounds like a neat addition. It would be better than the bland ol' purple one from Melee.

It would sure be cool if it could change color. I can already see a battle going: Sonic, blue sword, Mario, red sword, Snake, green sword, Pikachu, yellow sword.. that would be awesome.

That gave me an idea. Maybe the colors are based on the player numbers as well? Like, player one is red, so player one's saber is pink. Player two's saber is blue and so on and so forth.

Whoa..... that's a really good idea! I would have never thought of that.

That would mean that the nuetral saber color for the primids is green. Unless Player 3 is a primid.

I hate to burst all your bubbles, but I think that those Beam Swords are Primid-exclusive. I doubt they'd make your blade change color or else they would have mentioned it in the old items update.

They drop blue, and they are blue. The Primids fight in various ways, Sakurai said that. Most of them in that picture are carrying beam swords, it's part of the enemy, not an item.

I don't think thats a beam sword.. If you watch the video the slashes aren't the same.. i think its more of an advanced primid move.

That'd be sweet though.

What if the beam sword changes colors based on you costume, red for red, blue for blue, and default is that color you see in pictures.
