You could look this up on google 9.9

Red: Strongest aerials, decently strong smashes, average health, average grab range, average throw strength

Blue: decently strong aerials, decently strong smashes, good health, best grab range, strongest throws

Yellow: fairly weak aerials/smashes, average health, average grab range, average throws, lets certain pikmin attacks used with it come out faster

White: weakest aerials/smashes, lowest health, good grab range, weakest throws, has a flower poison damage over time effect on the character it hits (includes latch damage)

Purple: is death, destroyer of worlds. Strong aerials, strongest smashes, best health, shortest grab range, average throws, is an amazing projectile when Pikmin Tossed.

If by everything but throws and smashes, you mean aerials than yes. @ Virum Virum aren't yellows supposed to have longer hitboxes on smashes as well? I know for a fact Usmash is the same height for all but purple.
Yellow hitbox sizes get larger each stage of growth on all their moves barring grabs iirc. So their disjoint gets greater as opposed to the Pikmin going further.

Red:
Great: Deals the most damage in each stage compared to all others. Slightly above average KB.
Bad: They aren't great at other things.

Blue:
Great: Deals the most damage from throws. 3/4 throws can kill. Longest Grab Range.
Bad: They aren't Great at other things.

Yellow:
Great: Larger Hitboxes on all attacks. Attacks come out faster. Low KB allows for combo extensions. Side B often lands in harder to knock off areas of the opponent.
Bad: They can't kill at very high percents. Throws at high percents do not lead to follow ups. (You basically don't really want them if the opponent is over 115%.

White:
Great: Deals the most damage from Side B. Deals the most damage from Pummel. Flowered White attacks place a flower on opponents to deal additional damage. This flower can be shaken off if the opponent wiggles the stick a lot but it opens you up for an approach. Very low KB so it allows for combo extensions. They explode when finished attacking from side B, leading to openings.
Bad: Extremely fragile. They take a lot of work to keep them alive to have them flower. White's are really bad unless they are flowered.

Purple:
Great: Side B has KB. Has the highest KB of all Pikmin, allowing for earlier kills. High health.
Bad: Has shortest range on Usmash, Fsmash and Grab.

To sum it up, they all have their uses and some better in certain situations. Purple is probably the best. having 3-4 Purples in your lineup can throw an opponent off quite a bit as the flurry of side B Purples destroys their spirit. Red, Blue and Purple are always welcome in the lineup, but when the opponent gets to higher percents, it's probably best to toss the Yellow off the side, preferably at them while they try to recover. When ditching your white, always throw it at the opponent. Either it will die on it's own from dealing damage, or the opponent will kill it.

Pro tip: Listen to the opponents controller when they struggle against a white grab. If they aren't trying to get out SUPER hard, then Pummel as much as you think you can get away with. White Pummel damage is pretty crazy. I think it's 6% per pummel. You could get 30+% off one grab when they're over 100%.

I know I don't really play this game anymore but I'm just gonna go down the list of things so you know what's up with every Pikmin.

RED
Red Pikmin sport a higher damage output than other Pikmin. The only Pikmin to outdamage Red is a Flower White. However Red has some advantages over White such as having more HP which lets it stick around longer. Red has the third most knockback making it the third best killer. Red's throws are also fairly normalized, and they're good for starting combos and throwing the opponent around to put them in a position more advantageous to Olimar. Their perk when they hit the Flower stage is their damage goes up +2 from what it was when it was a bud rather than the +1 to damage every other Pikmin gets.

Thanks to it being fairly normalized it's good against fast fallers and for racking up damage with juggles. A Flower Red is a bit more useful in a lot of cases than a Flower White when the opponent has low damage because it actually has knockback and hitstun so that you don't get punished for landing a hit on the opponent. Also at early damage the "poison" flower of Flower White is easier to shake off because the opponent can move around more.

YELLOW
Yellow Pikmin is tied with Blue for the second lowest damage output on normals and has second lowest knockback. The former fact sucks about Yellow but the latter can be a good thing as it helps set up other combos. Yellow U-Smash into Purple F-Air/B-Air is a deadly combo. Yellow also comes with the perk of having faster, and sometimes more active, attacks. On top of this, if Yellow is flowered then it also has bigger hitboxes which mean bigger disjoints and more range. The speed and hitbox size increase makes Yellow an amazing defensive Pikmin as it's the best Pikmin to U-Smash OoS with and F-Smash comes out much sooner.

Also when thrown with Side-B it has a weird arc which can make it difficult to avoid when the opponent is trying to get around your Side-B spam.

BLUE
Blue Pikmin is one of the better Pikmin in my opinion. It shares the second lowest damage output on its normals with Yellow, but it actually has the second highest knockback after Purple. It also has a larger grab range and powerful throws. B-Throw and F-Throw are particularly good at killing and U-Throw can start juggles on fast fallers and kill floaties. Blue also has the second most HP in the game making it easy to keep. Flower Blue doesn't gain any additional perks, it just has really really strong throws.

WHITE
White Pikmin is kind of a gamble. Low HP, pretty much non-existant knockback and does no damage until it's flowered. Once flowered though, White because incredibly dangerous to the opponent, having the highest possible damage output. It's possible to get someone from 0-100 real fast. White also explodes after it's got all its Side-B hits in which can open up your opponent if they don't manage to get White off fast enough. Being flowered isn't required for the explosion.

PURPLE
The monster Pikmin. Purple is pretty much responsible for netting you your kills. Purple also does slightly more damage than Yellow and Blue, but that's not what you use Purple for anyway. Its knockback is incredible. Unfortunately it comes with the price of your grab range being shortened, and your F-Smash, U-Smash and U-Air having less range, but all these moves have the same endlag as your other moves (save for Yellow). Purple's throws are second strongest, which can sometimes be an issue because it makes it hard to follow up the grabs, but it also can't usually kill your opponent this way. Side-B becomes very very useful though since it turns into Olimar's only true projectile. Lastly Purple's HP is the highest in the game which makes it really easy to keep.

Quick note. The hitbox is not larger on the Yellow Flowered Usmash. It's the only attack of Yellows that, when flowered, does not have a larger hitbox. I think this is a bug, and I reported it, but it might have been glossed over or they didn't have time to fix it.

Are you sure it's not? Pretty sure when you compare it to the other Pikmin side by side the Yellows are slightly bigger.

Yes it is, but it only gets bigger at near the top. So yeah, I was wrong. It's kinda weird now since it's not the whole hit box that's bigger, but it's fine how it is now.

It's 2/4/6 depending on flower level.

Also big note on purples is that their damage doesn't get (fully) compensated as they flower. So they're the only pikmin that has better kill power as they grow.

In the jawn, with the jawn.

Since red does more damage per stage, in the knock back formula they also have better kill power over time.
