Grand Sage of Swag
About the same, honestly. I can't see much of a difference except you take more of a back seat in-game than you would IRL.

I wondered about the how and why so my question is not answered. You answered your own question. You got emotional and started being bad at mafia.

The way the game is played change and you remained stuck in older ways.I wondered about the how and why so my question is not answered.

Mafia is a strange beast. Thanks for making this post, but the way, I enjoy talking about this stuff.I don't...
I don't really think about my persona. But for the most part I appreciate that what people might have a problem with is 'my play' or 'my slot' and not me. I try and phrase my posts in a way that reflects that as well; i don't think I hate anyone that I've played mafia with. Sometimes I just hateYou can do it too.
I don't know how I differ IRL than from when playing mafia. You'd probably have to meet me/chat to me and tell me. I don't pay much attention. I can tell you that the way I write (and therefore type and communicate with you guys) is gonna be very different from the way I actually talk.J said:Persona in mafia is semi-different than my IRL persona. *shrug* Depends really.
Mafia is brainchess but OS is a pawn and decides it's a legal move to pretend he's a knight and jumps two spaces forward and one to the left.
Ran and I have been through this.lol
I've yelled at so, so, so so so, so many people, so so many times. I remember I yelled for ages to Roxy about what a ******* stupidhead he was in one game and we ended up bein big ol' bros not long thereafter.
I think it just kind of is a general understanding that there are no hard feelings about stuff unless otherwise specified, which is why people can take turns calling each other ******* for like six hours in a game and then chill on skype for another six later the same day like nothing happened. I actually think that is by far one of the coolest things about DGames as a community.
but yeah I feel ya, my initial retirement was brought out in the first place as a reaction to that things had become more annoyance and almost no fun, turning me into a crotchety old man on his internet porch. Stay away from my Gran Torino you goddamn gooks.
Unretiring as a hydra-only player, however, has been a good decision. Uh, so far, anyway. Ryker's semi-frequent disappearances in Mass Effect caused a few headaches but for the most part I was removed enough from the constant stresses of in-thread gameplay that everything was a lot more laid back and chill for me, and having someone to yell at on skype to get all the meanness outta your system is awesomely therapeutic, while doing so in a thread is a pretty thankless and ineffectual exercise. I think you might want to consider that as an option.
Yup. Wonder what happened.oh hey postbits work again
where my gold dice?
MTV owns the rights? That would explain where I saw it, then. It was probably on after Daria or some **** like that.so all you boners that are also undergrads fans (raz, rake, etc) should freaking buy the DVD. It's dirt cheap, it shows support for the show while they're still trying to drum up a corporate interest to buy the damn rights from MTV and make more (the animation studio has always been keen to work on it, but copyright and ****), and it's one of the highest quality DVD translations I've ever seen for a short-lived cult favorite show. Also it's tiny -- same size as a regular movie, so it doesn't take up space.
