Pop quiz!

You are only allowed to play ten video games for the rest of your life. What are they?

EE's games

Perfect Dark Arcade, Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena, Syphon Filter 2, Megaman Anniversary Collection, Max Payne, Shadow of the Colossus, Shadow Man, 007: Everything or Nothing, Contra, Mass Effect

The lack of a multiplayer FPS kind of stings but eh, I'm pleased with my decision
I approve of Shadow Man. Although, I wouldn't put it in my list since I'd want a game that I would also be able to play with others.

1. Melee
2. Rainbow Six Las Vegas 2
3. PSO
4. Mario Kart Double Dash
5. StarOcean 3
6. Valkerie Profile 2 Just cuz Lezard Valeth (why the hell do I remember his name now)
7. Batman Forever (With a friend damn it)
8. Blur (Mario Kart + Gran Turismo)
9. Diddy Kong Racing 64
10. Minecraft

Let's see. We have Racing, tactical shooting, fighting, rpg, and a matchbox game? (or w/e it is called).

I think that would satisfy me for the rest of my life. This is all chosen on what I would always play. Something I would come back to. Something I would put all my ALL in.

Starocean because the attack cancelling... I LOVE that. That was the only reason why I entered random battles and LOVED that I got one. lol The story may be BLEH, but that's my own fault for picking this game assuming it was a first in it's series... This pick my change to the first one if the same mechanics exist.

We should play it sometime. Also I hate the feeling of starting anew when you had a high level. (Memory card ;-; )

I haven't played Shadow Man 2, but heard it wasn't. D: I still intend to try it down the line though.

Dude Nabe and Ran, you're Shadow Man fans?? **** yeahhhhhh

and yeah sadly SM2 looks like ***. They totally changed the style of it so Mike is now this big blaxploitation Ving Rhames looking mother****er, when he just looked like a regular guy in the first game and that made everything way more interesting. Then the gameplay's supposed to be super clunky, and unlike the first game the level design isn't good and smooth enough to make up for that

No real talk though, if you can get past the voice acting of the era that game is actually so well-written.

By my deeds am I known, and they are truly bloody.

And yeah. Can you believe I just randomly got Shadow Man at a jewelry shop for $10? That was like, the most well spent $10 of my life. OF MY LIFE. (Ok, I think I spent $10 on OoT as well, but the $10 on Shadow Man was more worth ... spending :D )

Also loved the temples, those were so fun. And the asylum... Whenever I think "Asylum" I think of THAT asylum. Man. And the Playrooms, was my favorite level by far.

And into Asylum - like a great, black engine roaring to eternity, ravaging the already benighted landscape with its savage, malevolent presence. And within, the legions of the truly damned. Insanity sheer and stark and once in human form, now gutted and torn by eons of glutted indulgence. Their bloodlust flecking the oily walls, living in the shirks of victims ensnared, hanged, drawn and quartered by the serpent's squalid writhings.

This is the place I have not wanted to dream of, and the dream is now the place I partly live through.

yo ran what platform did you get it for?

I'm seriously considering buying a dreamcast to play it on a nice TV with a controller. Currently I play the PC version, which iirc is the best

I played it for the N64. I know that there was green blood instead of red blood, and instead of getting a book, I'd get a second assimilator. Yet it didn't detract from the experience.

And man, does Shadowman describe the Asylum so well. (Reading it with his voice in my mind)

remake of the shadow man theme by the actual composer, ten years later:

[yt]ZCHhMRNBnZE[/yt]

He did some redux Asylum music too but it's literally the stuff of nightmares

You seem to often forget that when you're sarcastic like that almost all of the time, detecting which sarcasm isn't serious is rather difficult. :l
Just give me the benefit of the doubt when you interpret it, cause I'm very rarely a ****, and those cases are usually because you're named okuser and somebody similarly d***ish.

I originally played Morrowind on Xbox, my friend showed off his character fighting Umbra and I thought it was the coolest thing in the world, so I bought goty edition and went nuts with it. Mournhold was probably my favorite location with every house offering some sort of side quest or secret and it blew my 15 year old mind. Of course I got it again on PC and modded it to hell, I don't think I will ever not enjoy Morrowind.
My brother got the goty edition when we were kids and jeeze, we spent so much time on that game. And then, being smart kids, we discovered mods.

Recently I just picked it up again on steam and gave it the full workover with the morrowind 2011 mod compilation to try to figure out if it still held up.

Queue me not leaving my room for a week.

A pity oblivion don't hold up anywhere near as well, honestly one of the greatest things about morrowind was the main story was so interesting, and the character were all well-developed enough to be believable.

Binding of Isaac was such a random find for me. I bought it release day since it was only $5 and sunk countless hours into it over the next few weeks. Before the expansion came out, I was only one item away from getting 100% in the game, goddamn moms contact never drops for me

Expansion is fun, but I tend to rage quit when certain item combos I need for achievements show up and I can't get them. Had all three guppy items drop in one floor once, 2 in the devil room, and I had one less heart than needed for them
Same for me, spent so much time on that game. Luckiest run has to be where i was cain and ran into a cursed room with spirit of the night which connected to a secret room with epic fetus.

Mom's contacts are the most frustrating item to get in the game, bar none.

Guppy I had one really lucky run early.

@EE-jim morrison quote is awesome. The doors are one of my favorite bands.
dunno bout order of these, plus I didn't play many games as a kid but
1-OoT. I poured hours into figuring this game's puzzles out.
2-Halo 4. Great campaign, great multiplayer.
3-Ratchet and Clank 1. Maybe my most played ps2 game, except for
4-007 Nightfire. Main campaign solid. Multiplayer with friends was a blast. Being able to play multiplayer mode with bots when people weren't around?Priceless.
5-Mario 64. Speaks for itself.
6/7-FF7 &8.
8-MK Double Dash
9-GTA
10-I'm playing ff4 on the ds version for the first time now.

I was quoting Shadow Man.

Granted, Shadow Man was probably quoting Jim Morrison. I'm not sure if Morrison was quoting anything at the time or just tripping balls.

The Lizard King was Morrison's alternate persona. In "The Celebration of The Lizard" is a line that runs "I am the Lizard King, I can do anything"

Oh I know, I was just curious about whether he was drawing from some kind of existing mythology or just made all that **** up while on all of the drugs, as per his custom

So, hey everyone. I don't really know if I'll be sticking around, but I will if the mafia's any good here, and I hear it is, so don't let me down. I've been playing mafia for almost 4 years now, (I cannot believe it's been that long) and I've played ~100 games, so I know my way around. I've only hosted three that weren't ******* games, (bad idea mafia is looool) but I've hosted a couple non-mafia games and have a good concept of balance, so I should probably host more.

My name on most forums and sites is TehBrawlGuy, but I'd feel dumb as hell using it on a Smash forum when I haven't played the game at any real competitive level since like '10. I feel silly enough using it anywhere, since it sounds like something a pretentious 13 year old came up with. (spoiler alert: That's exactly what happened.) I got used to being called TBG, and I've had no success trying to backronym it, so I've stuck with it.

So is there anyone else I know here besides Riddle and Ryker?
