The tablet isn't that dreadful tbqh. I much rather prefer it to the wiimote that's for sure.

Then again I have yet to play with a GC controller because I have yet to pick up my adapter from work due to shipment of them were late across the US. *for the solo adapter that didn't come with the game*

The GCC adapters are selling out because i'm pretty sure Nintendo only made them as an "I see you there" nod to the competitive community, and they had no idea that casuals would all also want to play exclusively with GCCs. They put all these other control options, and it's cool that they're there, but I don't think they realize how ****ty we all know they are. I bet Sakurai plays with a Wiimote.

Nintendo is saying they aren't making more.

I've been told they are going to ship some more in December. Though I don't have confirmation on the person who spoke with a rep on this though, looking into it another time.

If they didn't one of two things would happen.

1. Someone is going to make a third party adapter based on the nintendo one.
2. They are gonna make more based on how high the mark up in areas has been.

I wouldn't say people are out of luck on this. One way or another, someone is going to be making more of them.

edit: I'm hearing conflicting things on this, either Nintendo is gonna look into making more in the future and aren't making more right now or that they have more planed for the holiday era to ship out before Christmas and then the above again.

Either way dunno, it's one or the other.

A little Google-fu tells me that none exist in Canada whatsoever.
