=Registration=

2. During the tournament players must also be logged into Curse Voice and be in the CyberSmash Server.

3. The prize will be distributed thru Paypal.com. Please provide your Paypal e-mail address to receive the $5 instantly.

=Schedule
-Players must be in the Curse Server and registered to play by 10PM EST.

-Tournament will begin at 10:00PM EST after brackets are set.

=Rules:
-1-on-1
-2 stocks
-6 mins
-Double-Elimination
-Mii Characters are allowed (Moveset must be set to 1-1-1-1)
-Sets are best 2 out of 3. Top 8 matches are best 3 out of 5 sets.
-No items.
-Wii U version only.

(Players be sure to have these settings chosen before playing your matches)


=Sudden Death Rules:
If time runs out during a match, Sudden Death will never be played. Use the following rules instead:
-If one player has more stock remaining than the other, the victor will be player with the most stocks.
-If the stock count is tied, then the player with the lowest damage percent wins the round.
-If Sudden Death is forced by one player using a “suicide” move (Kirby/Dedede Swallow, Ganondorf Flame Choke, Bowser Claw, Wario Bite, etc.), then whoever initiated the suicide move wins the game.
-If both the percent and stock are tied at the end of a match, a one (1) stock, two (2) minute match will be played. This match must be played on the same level as the game prior and with the same characters. Whoever wins this 1-stock playoff wins the game.

-Stage Selection Rules-

--Starting Stage: The first stage will be randomly selected. Both players will choose a starter stage and the stage will be determined randomly.

--Stage Bans: During the stage ban phase, the winning player may ban two stages from the stagelist. The losing player must then choose an unbanned stage.


=Lag Control:

Please make sure your connection is running smooth and stable before attending. Before beginning a set, players must play a test match to determine if connections are good. Both players must agree to the connection before starting the set. If a player doesn't want to continue due to a "laggy" connection, then further internet troubleshooting will be attempted. In an event of horrible connectivity after troubleshooting, players MUST accept the lag or choose to forfeit the match.

=Communication During the Tournament:

1. All Players must download and use Curse Voice to communicate during this tournament. What is Curse Voice? It's an application like Skype but better!

2. After downloading Curse, join the CyberSmash room on the SDS Server: https://curse.com/invite/1MZgAG2ZHkqsrzaOcInpwA

-To participate you MUST be in the server at 9:30 PM EST.

3. During the tournament the Battlefy website will set your match up against your opponent.

-The Battlefy website will automatically add you in a private chat with your opponent during every match. PLEASE PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO THE BATTLEFY WEBSITE.

-Use the Curse Voice chat to discuss any issues with the TOs, locate your opponent if they aren't speaking within the Battlefy chat, talk with the homies, and to be notified of any important announcements.
