I want to customize my Stage selection screen.

Sort of like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jN0H1VdtMzo&feature=related

I see the code there but I don't want 7 Extra stages. I only want the Wifi Waiting Room added to my Selection screen.

I can't find this code anywhere, and I cannot find the code to edit my stage selection screen. If anyone can link me to the code/ post the code I would appreciate it.

I just want to customize the order of the stages and add the wifi waiting room.

BTW I tried using the Search function but my browser doesn't pull up any results @_@. My internet is to slow.

Anyways thanks.

I want this too. But you know what I really want? A GUI that makes codes for the CSS and SSS instead of PW's really limited program and trying to figure out how to make custom versions of the code.

Now that would be sexy. I wish I knew how to make programs :(
Me too. There's a programming class at school, but it won't fit into my schedule. I really want to learn how to make GUI's for Brawl hacking or anything else.

I don't watch my replays/I don't save replays lol.

Can anyone link me to it/ give it to me?

I would search custom stage selection screen by spunit262

But my search doesn't work. :/

Hmmm if anyone can teach me how to make GUIs for Brawl. I'd love you long time

Me, too, but I highly doubt it's simple enough for a tutorial. You'd most likely need classes or something.

If you want to learn, learn.

I started learning about programming when I was in elementary school.
Just start learning what you can, theres so many more resources availible to beginners now compared to when I was young. i actually bought books :(

i should not, the second ZZ WILL work, but the random is very off. if you don't mind working with a weird *** random stage select, then use the second one.

WW & NN = Number of bytes in VVVVVVVV & NNNNNNNN respectively.
ZZZZZZZZ
For the most part you won't need to touch this. There are only 2 reason you would want to. To change what stages are in rotation for random, the first 28 (40 decimal) slots. And to change the icon a stage uses. Each slot is 2 bytes (1 byte = 2 hex digits), the first byte is what level is loaded when selected, the second is what icon is displayed. Slot 29 (41 decimal) must be the Menu (used for my music).
YY is the number of byte in ZZZZZZZZ (slots*2)

TBH i don't even understand why there are the VVVVVVVV's and MMMMMMMM's and NNNNNNNN's.
Let me take an educated guess here:

first WW is the # of stage icons on the Normal Tab ( i noticed 1F is default which is 31, and so happens to be the number of stage in the normal tab.) and the 2nd WW is stages under the melee tab.

wow changing the stage screen is more complex than the CSS, jeez!

double post, but it does work. i got rid of the weird menu stages at the end (including WWR) and it functions fine. the only problem, is that in random stage select you need to select the first 4-5 stages (regardless of if they are the actual stage you want to select).
