Custom Songs playing over each other WTF! Help Please

Yeah, I've been adding custom songs for a few weeks now and have encountered no problems.... until now, it seems like whatever new songs I add end up having some of my other custom songs played over them.

It's not how you think, the correct song I put on the SD card plays at first, but then after a while the song goes all static, and then another custom song I uploaded plays except there's a lot of static/noise.

One song I uploaded in particular plays over my other songs most of the time, so I took that one out, then I tried uploading the same song again, this time the song went a little further but it still went all static and changed into another staticy version of another song I uploaded, and I don't want to take this one out.

Is it because I have too many songs up?

Is it because some songs I have are too long for the one they're overwriting?

I have the file replacement code 3.5.1

Any help would be appreciated.

This happened to me, too. I had replaced Song of Storms with a metal remix, then I got tired of it and replaced it with something else. When it played, it would be perfect until the first two verses or so, then it would go quiet and play a really low quality Song of Storms metal remix forever.

copy all your SD Card files in a folder on your desktop, then delete them off your card and replace them with the copy you just made
Alright I'll try it now, I'll post again in a minute

I had this too, on one certain stage, Green Greens to be exact. There was a texture hack on it, when I took that off and replaced it with another one, the problem was gone. Hope this helps :)

Alright, this took forever but I think this is the only solution, it seems MK26 had the right idea, you have to take everything off and put it back on

The important thing is that you don't add anymore songs after you do this, otherwise they will screw up, so if you want to add songs, try to make it quite a few at once

So thanks to MK26 and SymphonicSage12(had the right idea but more explanation for how to was needed for me)

EDIT: Err... that is, if I knew how to close it lol

When you want to replace a song, you have to DELETE the one you don't want no more off of your SD card FIRST, then you put the new one.
