I was searching for stuff on the internet and I stumbled upon rule 34 of this, which I find a little disturbing.

I wasn't searching for rule 34 of this, it must have used tags unrelated to it

It's nice to know that the quickest way to completely eliminate the power from any position is to give it to an attractive person. Of course all they focus on is her looks

Well....

You got a call from the 21st century.
I also heard they can vote too in most countries!

inb4 "I was just kidding I was making a joke why take things so serisouly"
They also have frail bodies and emotional instability.

I'm too tired right now to post a counter pic, maybe later.

I'm not even sure if I should reply to this because this just seems like bait to start some uproar.

Oh well. Ever heard of Janet Reno? First woman USA attorney general? Served for eight years?
And how about state attorney generals? There have been quite a few women as them too.

There have been female leaders in the past, I don't know why you're mentioning that. None of it takes away from the fact that its expected that a female attorney general would not be taken seriously.

Well to be fair if was an attractive man we wouldn't have this issue. The problem is that they give the position to a woman, they never command respect!

I'm mentioning it because of your sexist remarks that a woman cannot be an attorney general because of their "frail bodies" and "emotionally unstable."
But they clearly have been.

Also the fascination with her isn't a big deal. Any authority figure is also characterized. This is no different.
This probably started of her previous pictures of her posing in cocktail dresses (see above.)

It's also hard to argue about her position because she hasn't done much as of yet...because she's now Senior Councillor of Justice, reportedly.

I have no idea what you're talking about.

I never said women cannot be an attorney generals .Obviously they can because she is, my implication is that (like many other leadership roles) they are bad at it. And I think the fact that she isn't being taken seriously is evidence enough of that.

I didn't realize that it was actually her in that dress. I'm surprised they let her keep that position after that pic was leaked.

.
And this is exactly what I'm talking about. Women have had many leadership roles before. Some bad? Sure, but not all of them have been.
Your reasoning for them being bad leaders is because they have "frail bodies" and are "emotionally unstable."

Grow up.
I'm done with this thread.

Ah, doesn't surprise me that the media undermines an authority figure over her aesthetics. Yet she hasn't made any decisions to warrant her considerable criticism yet.

We should save the Ukraine Crisis talk for a more casual, yet contained thread. One that doesn't require Debate Hall access.

In the meantime, what else should the Crimeans do about those Russain border defenses?

What are you getting so upset about?

I think like most people I don't want a leader with a frail body and unstable emotions. You think I'm wrong for that?

Sure enough she's the Russian pawn we could have figured: http://khpg.org.ua/en/index.php?id=1398609863 This is one of the world's most centralised countries we're talking about after all. I wonder if she's from the narrow Russian majority in Crimea (57% in 2001 Census and declining until annexation) or a Russified Ukrainian.

At any rate, Crimea got it's own brand new Federal District in Russia, by far its smallest and only hope to about a 2.3 million people, interesting:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Federal_districts_of_Russia

What a behemoth, wow, nearly twice as large as my country, the world's second largest, Canada. What Russia did was wrong and illegal but I wish we could expand :p
