Heh, I thought this was pretty neat, found in an interview with Ken Levine on 1up:

http://www.1up.com/do/newsStory?cId=3165162

1UP: Which game are you most looking forward to playing in 2008, and what was your GOTY for 2007

KL: I may disappoint some people with this, but the game I'm looking forward to in 2008 is Smash Bros. Now that I finally managed to crack my way into Outland, I'm now psyched for the next WOW expansion. In terms of Best of '07; that's a tough one.

My friend Andrew Mayer, who's also a game designer, said that '07 was kind of like 1939 in Hollywood, when the nominees included Gone with the Wind, The Wizard of Oz, Mr. Smith Goes to Washington and a bunch of other all-time classics. So, I'm gonna stay away from the traditional favorites here and go with J'eanne D'Arc on the PSP. That said, Portal was amazing, as was Rock Band, Galaxy and too many others to mention. What an insanely great year.

That's so awesome. People from a totally different game like Bioshock looking forward to a Nintendo game. That's so inspiring in a way.

Creators of Nintendo will never say: "Yeah.. I'm looking forward to Bioshock 2 in 2009."

*waits for people saying "OMG IT CANT BE IN 2009"*

He may disappoint some people with this... Good god. XD The people who are all, "ECKSBAWKS" need to cram it if those are the people he's referring to.

Well, it is, as of this moment, the most anticipated video game of 2008. If there was a statistic poll for it, the facts would point towards Brawl with no questions asked. We've gotten Halo 3, Super Mario Galaxy, BioShock, Call of Duty 4, Metroid Prime 3, Orange Box, and what's left? For Brawl to sweep them all away in the new year. ^^

Nice little fact. :p

I'm not really shocked, this game invokes many childhood memories so there's bound to be fans in Microsoft and/or Sony's publisher networks.

And I would like to play against this guy too. Hopefully we can use the Microsoft SAM voice against him.

Lets get his Wii code and play with him.
YA! I bet he plays Snake and Mario. He'll make lots of Wii friends that way, by liking smash and playing it online! >_<

Any kind of fanboy is annoying.
I like people who can enjoy any game/console and not blindly bash one out of ignorance
or bias.
Fanboys can drown themselves. O, and QFT! :)

^ LOL. Satoura Iwata playing and excited for BioShock (which is on every 7th gen console but the Wii, and it's on the PC) would make me laugh...my...a**...off!
