Cratering

Cratering is a cool little addition to brawl that i thought of. Basically when your fighting an opponent whos damage meter is really high, if you do a meteor attack or spike to an enemy and they hit solid ground, they will be "cratered" into the gorund as if hit by a DK over-b or a pitfall item. Thoughts?

i agree. That seems a bit excessive... Do you know how hard it would be to throw someone INTO steel?

That would be irratating and lead to an even slower game. Smash isn't ment to be overly complicated with tones of features. Simple can be better.

Not that I'm a physicist, but I'd wager it's somewhere between jumping in mid-air and smacking a bag full of send 3000feet using a wooden baseball bat. It strikes me as odd that you would use the realism card on a game involving a flame-throwing plumber, a space-faring fox, and more ridiculousness than you could shake a paper fan at.

As someone who has never played, read, or watched Dragon Ball, I'll say that this is a cool, clever idea, and I would like to see it in, thought only at high percentages.

That being aside, I highly, highly doubt it will be in the game, and I shan't lose any sleep over the matter.

Now if it left crater MARKS that'd be cool.

How about just bigger effects and louder crash noises, and more intensely red-blinking characters?
