Crash Bandicoot in Brawl.

Crash might be interesting but seeing how everyone is saying only one more third party character left I'd rather have someone like Mega Man,Pac-Man(not much for bomberman though) make it into brawl.

only one more 3rd part character? where was that said? I doubt that... if there is supposedly 50 characters in Brawl, we have 23 known (dedede WAHAHAHAHA) thats almost melee's entire character roster. there will probably be more 3rd party...

If there IS 50 characters. That will more likely be one more 3rd party (Most likely Megaman or Geno) and everything else will be Nintendo. Crash is the only slightly over Spyro in the likely category. But 50 is pushing it. 43-45 at best but maybe lower.

I used to love Crash Bandicoot way back when the series was actually Sony exclusive and didn't suck. After Naughty Dog sold off the series, it went all downhill. Unfortunately, since then, Crash's popularity has diminished to all but his fanbase who still buy the crappy games. And it's not like Sonic (Who also has become synonymous with "Crap Games"), who remains popular nonetheless. Although he could work, and would be super cool, I don't think Sakurai would waste the time and money putting this guy in, especially since Crash Bandicoot is even less popular in Japan even more than in the US.

I hate it when everyone makes this overgeneralization. Crash Bash, Wrath of Cortex, Nitro Kart, that Spyro crossover, and Boom Bang sucked. Hard. But there still have been several good post-Naughty Dog Crash games: the GBA games (Huge Adventure, N-Tranced) were great 2D transformations of the originals; Twinsanity had interesting gameplay, open 3D environments, and great story and humor and references to the original, even if it was a bit short; Tag Team Racing was a very cool, new racing concept (for this series, don't go all Double Dash on me) with a good platforming and collecting sidequests; and I haven't played Crash of the Titans, so I can't judge that.

I think that in Japan, Crash is at least as popular in the US; they even change Crash's model almost every game to make him look more like the Crash that appeared in the Japanese commercial (where the famous Crash dance originated).

Yes, Crash in Brawl will extremely likely NOT happen, but still, those were points I just had to correct. :p

Crash of the Titans was a great refresher to the Crash Series, but it is very unlikely that the orange bandicoot will be in brawl.....

Kenny G. has a better chance of making it than Crash. Which is still a very good chance considering Nintendo's new title, "Mario and Kenny G. at the Olympic Orchestra".

I was never a big Crash fan, but I wouldn't mind him making the cut just so I could whoop him with Mario as revenge for all those commercials dissing Nintendo. :laugh:

your wrong, crash could definetly work because if you ever played the series (obviously you haven't) then you would know he has a bunch of moves he could use, although I do got to admit his chances are slim and lower than Pac Man's, but I'm still hoping no matter what

well I already know that! obviously just looking at big icons such as Megaman, Bomberman, Pac-Man etc... he just doesn't stand a chance against those guys, I'm just supporting him just for the fact that he would be cool, and I "imagine" him being in it, is all

megaman will be in brawl. thats obvious. crash, again, would be awesome to be in it. i can imagine crash spinning out of control on hyrule temple.

I would love Crash Bandicoot to be playable In SSBB. The main reason why was because of the competition back In the 90's. I have suggested my Idea to Nintendo many times through email, so soon, I'm going to do a direct phone call. I want Crash In the game not only because I want him to be In It, but also because of all the Crash Bandicoot fans out there. I'd do almost just about anything for Crash to be In SSBB. All the Geno fans look down on me because of my choice, but I don't care. I'm going to do the best I can to get Crash Bandicoot game. And If I fail, I'll try again as soon as the next SSB game Is announced.


Also Demon Kirby, could I perhaps share your suggestion on Crash's move to Nintendo? I promise I shall say that I am not the maker of the move set and It was another person's Idea. It'd be most appreciated. But If not, I understand.

Thank you. But I need to know, how Would the gold Aku Aku Mask work? I do know how It works In the games, but If you could explain to me how you want It to work, It'd be most appreciated. Because that way I can send It In to Nintendo.

Okay, here's the sccop everyone. I go on a very popular Crash Bandicoot forum titled, "Crash Mania". One of the moderators has connections with Radical Entertainment, Radical Entertainment Is the one that develops the Crash game. I asked the moderator to contact one of the managers of Radical entertainment. This Is what Radical entertainment said:
"Gotcha. No, that is not currently on the table. Those kinds of tie-ins
take a long time to manifest. It's kind of like MacDonalds convincing
Wendy's to let them sell the Mama Burger. It doesn't happen often.

"Kristen" Is one of the main manager of radical entertainment.

So sadley, Crash is not, will not, and can not be in SSBB, and that's what one of the forum moderators said.

If anyone wants to take a shot at putting Crash In the game, go for It. But Crash cannot be In SSBB. So I guess all of you can go back to giving Geno all of the attention........

Geno is a puppet partner thing in Super Mario RPG. I don't have that much info on him. But perhaps you should look him up or go to the Geno thread. They'll tell all about him.

Eh, I don't care much for Crash BUT the games were pretty fun and he'd probably make a good Smash character anyway.

I'm gonna have to agree about his new model = yuck, though. :ohwell:

For some reason... I cracked up when I saw Crash's new model, then his old model. I mean, really cracking up. Yeah, I guess I'm weird like that.
