Could someone test this, I can't right now

Okay I think I found out why tails model from green hill zone doesn't seem to work with anyone, his bones are named differently, a normal characters bones are named TopN and etc. but his are named "stggreenhill_tailsTopN" or something close to that, but I renamed all the bones and looked at the animations and they seemed to work, although his right arm sorta did it's own thing sometimes, but could someone test it and tell me what it's like in game

I used it on Mario because I thought it would glitch up, because he has a whole different part of the model for when he jumps to make himself into a ball, I didn't want to mess it up because he didn't have that part of the model, so anyways.

You didn't give us the fitmariomotionetc.pac file. That is what contains animation data.

Despite how hard you try, it isn't very likely that you'd get this to work (Sorry for the negatives :S)

The only way I think something like this could work was if we had a proper way to edit Brawl Models, the tools Ninty actually used to make the game (Not taking anything away from the great programs everyone has developed so far), or you learn to model..... in HEX.....

It doesn't hurt to try though. Have you learnt anything worth sharing since you started trying this?

EDIT: By "learnt anything worth sharing", I mean have you made any developments.

Well I learned that that the bones of models in a stage usually have the name of the stage before he bone name, so that could be part of the reason why some model hacks fail, I don't get why he looked so compatible to Mario in the animation viewer but it still wouldn't work.

It's possible that you need to play on GHZ in order to not invoke a freeze which would explain why the bones and so forth have the stage name in front of it, because those bones and the model is only loaded on that stage just like articles are only loaded if the character is in the match.

I'm not sure if this has anything to do with whether it works or not, but the .PCS file seems to still have Sonic's palettes.

ZakoChild probably has less of a chance of working than ZakoBoy. Try ZakoBoy (red alloy) instead.
