Any new information is good information. I hope its the full roster, so we know just how many characters will be in Brawl; I'm hoping for 40-42, because I'd feel completely screwed over without that many. The main staple of the game is the characters, we all know that and so does Sakurai(I assume he does anyway), so I dont think 40 plus characters is too much to assume.

I want to see the full roster, every single final smash, every single AT, a in-depth analysis of every single character complete with their side B attacks, the full lowdown on Subspace Emissary, and a demo.....


I am joking but that basically sounds like every single impatient n00b about Brawl.

Anyways, I expect something new in the magazine. Nothing special though. Possibly the same starting roster character which I see happening. Not the secret characters. It's just way to much to reveal prior to release.

What I see happening is Sakurai and Coro-Coro synchronizes the content so it's released on the same day.

Though we did expect a HUGE update on December 3rd...and got nothing.

actually I've talked to a few people who can read and speak fluent Japanese and theyve all said it does indeed state it will reveal hidden characters as well.

They won't reveal the entire roster. Hell they probably won't reveal anything that's not already on the official site, maybe Sheik or Falcon (if he's a starter), it may have some Final Smashes we don't know about or something but please don't get your hopes up everyone

I don't think that the lack of character updates have something to do with the magazine issue.

The December 3rd updates was PURE wishful thinking, unlike this.

Yeah, but that wasn't the only thing. There was the Nintendo Power holiday issue that supposedly had the Demo Disc, Miyamoto's Birthday and Kojima's supposedly being something important, that whole Capcom countdown that turned out to be about Street Fighter IV(and now there's another one, and people are hyped up again).

And there's more I can't remember, that was just the most recent. So, basically, I've learned not to expect much. After all, my expectations will have no bearing on what we actually get, and if we do get a full roster, I'll be pleasantly surprised as opposed to being bummed out if we don't..

Right, but there's still the Special Moves updates left for a lot of the veterans. We've gotten a lot of them piecemeal, like Samus and DK's neutral B's on the Charging update, but if Sakurai REALLY doesn't want to give us anyone, there's still 6-8 updates he could give us just on Final Smashes and special moves...
